    vista lodge on recto, a few feet away from the corner of avenida going to divisoria... the place was surprisingly okay for it's location... the room i got was basic, just a little table, 2 chairs & a bed... the room was also clean, AC was uber cold but they do have running hot water... and best part is its cheap, 400+ for a 6 hour stay...

    MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!

     

    In the case of Walking Dead, there was an explanation (examination) made to show how the zombies come back to "life". It's all in the stem. There was a scene in the base camp where one head was lopped off and still it moved, which further supports the case of Walking Dead's zombies and their re-animation.

     

    I haven't read the graphic novel but if I were to write a fanfic, I would k*ll a character with a zombie that such character stabbed in the head yet missed the brain stem. That zombie's gonna rise up and eat his neck off! Or something like that! :lol:

    not a graphic novel, its a monthly series under image comics... they're up to issue #87 now...

    Here's what I don't get:

    Anyone who says the concept is original would be lying.

     

    If the stem of the brain is only left with the job to fire those synapses, I don't think it is possible for the walkers/geeks/zombies to continue to exist without sustenance. Why don't they wither away and die (for the second time around) instead of exhibiting some semblance of physical strength. I mean, everything is pretty much consumed. Without eating, they'd best die again. Right? (Like in that other zombie movie you all know of). Thinking about it, with just the stem of the brain powering up the entire body, they'd best be walking vegetables sans any appetite whatsoever. Heck, they should not be walking either. They should just be twitching like a broken wind-up toy soon to lose all life and motion.

     

    I liked watching it though. I wanna find out what happens to them (I'm not very much a fan of reading CBR files) when they go everywhere and find there's nothing. Then what?!! :lol:

     

    Anyhow...

     

    On to the next series for me, while I wait for the next season.

     

    It's Eastbound and Down for me.

     

    And good thing Entourage is back on again. Can't wait for 8.2. 8.1, I think, showed the most "movement" in a long while. Nicely done. Then again, it's just gonna be 7 eps.

     

    Oh well...

    though writers do exercise creative liberties on how zombies are depicted, they mostly follow standards set in george romero's "dead" movies where they don't fully or scientifically explain how or why the plague started or how the zombies function... when they do its only on rare occasions... the non-explanation just adds mystery to the whole thing...

    There's a shop at Tutuban named PC R US and they carry the Denkat 510, Joye eGo, GGTS and several other brands. They also have refills, e-liquids, etc. They carry almost everything you'll need to start, continue, and elevate your vaping experience.

    I bought my Joye Ego PT unit last march 2011. Till now i haven't had any cravings with "analog" cigarettes. Why? because my kit lasts 6-7 hours of continuous smoking which is good for a day and a half if youre a mild smoker. My battery lasts 18 hours without charging cause im a bit of a heavy VAPER. My kit has a USB port at the tip of the battery so while im infront of my PC, watching TV, or even driving, i can VAPE while charging, and thats with windows closed and AC on.

     

    I bought my kit at PhP 2000.00 with free 10 ml liquid. As for the liquid, i read somewhere that 1 ml is equal to 20 sticks of cigarettes, and 10 ml bottle costs 200-300 pesos. You do the math. I got addicted to the different flavors that they sell, and my favorites are strawberry, cola, nutella, japanes corn, and marlboro reds of course.

     

    im 31 now and i started smoking around 13 y/o and i quit just this march 2011. last time i checked i was smoking 1 pack of marlboro reds per day, and when i quit, the tobacco withrawal was uneasy, i would palpitate periodically for 5 days. some people are even worse, they got fever and flu, but afterwards its heaven. base on my personal experience, i dont get easily tired anymore when i walk, jog, workout, and my taste buds are now normal. one thing though, you get your appetite back, and the e-juice makes you hungry cause of the flavors.

     

    i tried 2 puffs of analog cigarette (marlboro lights) and it tastes like sh*t, and thats after only 3 weeks of VAPING. I guess the best thing that im getting from e-cig is, while you are taking in some nicotine, you are NOT getting the carbon monoxide, nor the toxins or tar that you get from smoking. Remember that e-cig has no ignition and fire hazard. For me thats good enough knowing that my lungs are WAY safer now. Just last week i went to the province for 5 days and i forgot my e-cig at home, i didnt crave for analog smoke at all. Hope this helps you decide. :rolleyes:

    don't know if i'm in the right place but i'm getting an error when accessing my external hard drive that says: can not read drive E: Error Performing Inpage Operation... i heard that performing disk check rm the command prompt may fix this but i've never done this before, i'd just like confirmation from other that this will work or if there are other ways...

    Requirements to migrating to another country is highly specific. Each country has it's own criteria for you to qualify as a migrant to said country. You should be more clear at least to what your basis for migration is, be it family-based, work, talent, investment or if you are a derivative beneficiary and which country you are planning to migrate to.

    thanks for replying... i plan to migrate to the US & have already sent the application & what i thought was already a complete set of requirements but i was sent a letter containing this:

     

    A gap exists in your residence history of more than six months. When completing the

    information in this section, please refer to the following instructions below on Police

    Certificate(s):

    *Police certificates are required for each visa applicant aged 16 years or older, based on

    where each applicant lives or has lived previously.

    *Police certificates are also required from all other countries where the applicant has resided

    more than 12 months. Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain

    any police certificates covering their residence in the U.S.

    *Generally, applications for police certificates should be made directly to the police authorities

    in the district in which you resided. The police certificate must:

    i did get a police clearance & specifically requested for one that will be used for migrating to the US... i am also confused about that supposed gap in my residence history & they didn't exactly make clear as to what part though... and when they say US consular office procesing my application, do they mean the US embassy here?
