  1. Yesterday, a purportedly family-oriented and child-friendly Manila Ocean Park was tainted by a sexual controversy after the nearby H2O hotel revealed a live show far more disturbing than the “Aquatica Show”: a foreign national having a steamy sex scene with her Filipina girlfriend. According to Armi Cortes, VP-Sales & Marketing of Manila Ocean Park, the two assumed that their private intimacy yesterday was shielded by a “one-way” mirror, not knowing that their live copulation was witnessed by adult visitors and some innocent children, who, perhaps, were a bit confused if that scene was a part of their “field trip” just like how those talented sea lions showcase their skills. But the damage has been done and the only thing left are the lessons we should learn from their mistakes. Well, aside from checking if the mirrors we face on a daily basis are “one-sided” or not, we have to be responsible in controlling our sexual urges or drives and should never forget the follies of those who blundered in the field of “responsible sexual control” before us.

    Truly an educational field trip!

  2. hmmm, naka dual core lang ako 2140 1.6GHz 2G ram,

    my screen is 21"

For the 2012 version, the recommended processor required by Microsoft is:

    Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 ghz or Phenom II X4 965

Since you are using a 21 inch monitor, I assume you will be playing at a resolution of 1920x1080.

The recommended video card is a 1024 MB ATI Radeon HD 5670 or 1024 MB NVIDIA GEFORCE 9800 GT

  3. "One of the treaty's article staes: An armed attack on either of the Parties is deemed to include an armed attack on the metropolitan territory of either of the Parties, or on the island territories under its jurisdiction in the Pacific or on its armed forces, public vessels or aircraft in the Pacific"

We didn't cooperate during the Iraq war, how would the American public feel if we ask for their help?

IMHO, the Americans considers Spratly and Scarborough as disputed territories, that's why many islands in the Spratly have been occupied by different countries.

My point is we should start building our navy and air force, because Uncle Sam might not help us if the fighting didn't reach our main islands.

  4. I had one Chinoy friend, actually he is pure Chinese as his parents are both from mainland China. sabi nya dati, pag nag gyera daw between China and Philippines, sa Philippines sya because he grew up here.

A lot of Chinoys would side with the Philippines in the event of war because in times of trouble, they are on their own.

From the beginning, China had already announced that she will not consider overseas Chinese as her own.

During the Indonesian race riot, China just stood by and let native Indonesians rape and behead Indonesian Chinese.

When kidnap for ransom was institutionalized in the Philippines, China did nothing.

A lot of Chinoy traders had bad experiences dealing with Chinese manufacturers.

A lot of Chinoy manufacturers have to shut down their factories because the cheap low grade goods from China was undercutting the prices.

  5. Ok Braniacs, I need some feedback, my video card had a capacitor that exploded (literally) so I walked over to the neighborhood PC shop and bought a sparkle GEFORCE 210 1G, hooked it up to an HDMI and my monitor,

question is: did I buy a crap card or what can i do with this? I don't game much but do like to play with photoshop,

Can I game with this? what are its limitations? can i do flight sim?

I bought it for P1,500, so not crazy expensive,

The video card is not suitable for playing flight sim. Mind letting us know what is your processor, amount of RAM, and the native resolution (or the size of your screen) of your screen?

  6. natawa ako sa nabasa ko - The United states of America is among the 34 nations who have not ratified the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Seas (UNCLOS)...kaya wapakels sila...

the bigger surprise - The Philippines ALSO is not with the UNCLOS - WHEN IT COMES TO SOVEREIGNTY ISSUES LIKE THAT ON SCARBOROUGH...yes Marcos has ratified UNCLOS but not in it's entirety declaring that it doesn't recognize UNCLOS in certain issues...sadly the issue that "we" do not recognize is...THE ISSUE OF SOVEREIGNTY! WAPAK! TOINGKS!

How can we make an argument if we ourselves didn't ratify the UNCLOS?

  7. 6 days and counting...

On the 1st day you are having problems start calling them. Call them everyday to update the status of your dsl connection. At the end, they will refund you for your lost days.

If your problem is slow connection, be aware that it is normal for PLDT dsl connection to slow down to .5 mbps from 7pm to 11pm.

PLDT is overloaded with subscribers, that's how they make money.

In my case, the problem is the wifi is not working, internet signal works only up to the modem.

Following the advice of a PLDT insider, I apply for a new connection so that I can get new cables, and then I requested for the disconnection of my old line. The downside is my landline numbers are changed too.
