  1. Favorites ko, not in first to last order:

Lugang - Taiwanese dish pero very authentic; they have chinese cooks here kaya ganun lasa.

    * try their spicy garlic fish in claypot and kung pao chicken with cashew

Michelin star rated that is why masarap talaga (mahirap makakuha ng kahit-isang star lang)

    * Baked Bun with Pork BBQ, Beancurd Skin Roll at Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf ang go-to ko dito palagi

    * Hot Prawn Salad, Birthday Noodle

    * Lahat masarap HAHAHA

Superbowl - Hot and Sour Soup talaga ang dahilan bakit ako pumupunta dito.

    * Oyster Omelette (extra spicy) at Three Cups Squid gusto ko dito

Sincerity Resto - Fried Chicken pa more!

Meron din dimsum promo from 2pm-5pm, 50% off lahat dimsum.

    SPECIAL MENTION:

Hehehe. Hilig mo rin kumain siguro. lol

  2. If you want to have a real Roast Beef Sandwich, you just have to do it yourself. All the ingredients are available at the delicatessen counter of RUSTANS - FRESH. PAUL French baguette , AGUILA sliced roast beef, EMBORG cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, GREY POUPON Dijon mustard, WAITROSE ESSENTIALS creamed horseradish, BEST FOOD Mayo, VLASIC dill pickles. It will surely hit the spot.

  3. Family had an early Chinese New Year dinner tonight at CHINA BLUE @ Conrad Hilton Manila.

Food - 4/5 - Almost like Gloria Maris but with better presentation and plating.

Place- 3/5 - Chinese inspired setting but no frills. No table cloth service. Very utilitarian and functional table arrangement.

Ambiance- 3/5- For a fine dining Chinese restaurant in a 5 star hotel, you expect a little more opulence.

Price- 2/5- Expensive relative to the local setting. Expect to pay as much as $60/person & upwards (reasonable price to pay in SF or LA)

Service- 3/5- Maybe good for a one star Michelin service level, maybe because of the cheaper local staff.

Overall- 3/5- No Michelin for this one. Estimated Zagat rating @ 20/30.

  4. HI maninmotion,

The branch I go to is pretty nice, not so crowded and the coffee is good too. I would not say its spectacular or much better vs the others. Convenient and less crowded

Thanks for the tip, Mango Man. I see the appeal of the place now. There is a COFFEE PROJECT branch where I stay. It's in a small mall that has a Rustans Fresh Supermarket and a STARBUCKS. Way out in the very inconspicuous place in the Village Center Mall is the Coffee Project Shop, it's truly a counterpoint to Starbucks, front and center location. It makes a cozier and quieter place for a more deliberately slow and relaxed coffee experience. Hmmmmmm....good point. Okay, now I can see why it appeals to some people.
