There are two types of waiting. There is the waiting you do for something that is coming sooner or later, like a bus ride or a birthday celebration. And then there is the waiting for something you don't know is coming. You don't even know what it is exactly, but you are hoping for it. That's the kind of waiting that busts your heart.

What do you do to unwind?

Just continue what you're doing and don't look back, not a single step. It's ok to grieve and get emotional but you must give yourself a deadline. Otherwise, it's just too pathetic.
