  1. same s@%t, different name. only got worse. I rather watch cockroaches f*ck than watch this crap.

  2. for those experienced apple gadget owners, you know the sequence.... Introduction of new product that has so less features left to be desired> bring on the tempting apps> gradually add small hardware upgrades to keep applefans burning their hard earned money buying another upgraded device> as step by step improvements keep going on, you'll see the hype slowly turn into must-have> Stevie will once again laugh his way to the banks>>

Its almost the same path iphone walked thru.

  3. US $ 1,200,000.00 divided by 399 na suntok pinakawalan ni Clottey = US $ 3,007.5187

...anyway, im still entertaining the thought of another milestone for Pacman, being the first ever boxer to sing the national anthen in his own fight night.

  4. anyone whose an avid horror/gory movie fanatic will be familiar with Anatomy 2. http://www.contactmusic.com/new/film.nsf/reviews/anatomy2

This is a German horror/thriller but unlike any other, leading lady dito ang Pinay. Some scenes portray Rosie Alvarez (leading lady as a nurse) always been mistaken as either chinese or thai butshe always answered "I am a Filipina"...."Im from the Philippines....". this is probably the only foreign movie where a Filipina wasn't put in a bad light instead she played a very important role as a conservative yet strong type of women the german lead guy falls in love with. I wonder kung bat di masyadong sikat dito sa tin. But it just confirms my resolve that among the foreigners, the Germans have the highest regards for us. There was even a statue of Jose Rizal in Germany.

  5. General Vo Nguyen Giap - I dont know if there's a film about him but he's the general responsible for the Vietminh's impressive tactical victory over the technically superior americans during the Vietnam war. If Sun Tzu is watching, he'll be very proud of Giap's very smart application of Art of War.

Che Guevarra - It's a war crime not to include him in this list, although he's not actually a general, it was more of Fidel Castro. But his mere presence and aura is a true energizer for the gung-ho cuban rebels that claimed the victory for the revolution.

of course, the All-time Greats: Alexander the Great, Ghengksi Khan, King Leonidas and my Favorite, William Wallace

  6. 2012, for the "men of faith" point of view, has a story lines that doesnt show any values or lesson. It just shows your faiths are not counted but a billion Euros and bit of luck can be your salvation.

On the other hand, its true.... those who have moolas to spare and the just lucky ones have all the fun in this world, 2012 or not.

Lame acting, not so convincing explanation of why its happening, uninspiring storyline, what we only pay for are its amazing digital effects. Just a popcorn shaking movie.

Dedicated to Gayweather

They asked you if you'll fight me

And you choked on your reply

I'd rather Arum deal with you

Than mislead you with a lie

And who am I to judge you,

On what you say or do

    The fans are now beginning

    To see the real you...

    And someday when we tats

My LEFT will be too much

That you have to close your eyes

    Where do you hide?

I wanna pound you til you're white

'Til your face breaks down and cry

    I wanna beat you

'Til you dream and say, goodnight.

You think you are a strategist

That you can insult my pride

    But through your insecurities

    You're ZERO loss seemed right

    You're just another fighter

So far from what is true

    An overrated boxer

    Who never gives his due

    And someday when we tats

My RIGHT will be too much

That you have to close your eyes

    Where do you hide?

I wanna pound you til you're white

'Til your face breaks down and cry

    I wanna beat you

'Til you dream and say, goodnight.

At times I'd like to break you

And drive you to your knees

The fans would like to watch you

    And see your first defeat

    Your huggers understand you

And we know how hard they try

I've watched your Dad protect you

And your Uncle loves to smile

My coach thinks your a loser

    Still searching for a break

You think your odds are better

But then the public bets AGAINST!

    And someday when we tats

My SPEED will be too much

That you have to close your eyes

    Where can you hide?

I wanna pound you til you're white

'Til your face breaks down and cry

    I wanna beat you

'Til you dream and say, goodniiiiiiigggghhhhhttttt!

  8. Smart-Gilas relies heavily on their American reinforcement inside the shaded area and since they don't allowed reinforcement/import sa FIBA-Asia Smart-Gilas would have finish 10th or lower

a lot of other FIBA- supposed-to-be national teams are reinforced by the so-called "naturalized" reinforcement. Jordan, Japan, Germany, heck, even Russia (akala ko first time kong makakita ng rusong egoy) are reinforced, if not being lead, by their "import". Andaya ngang tingnan. But that's their way to get into the competition, so why not ? tutal, if im not wrong, CJ is in the process of naturalization na rin.

Ok, CJ is such a big help. but nung na foul trouble sya, the team still kept their composure, still executing the plays the way it should be, kitang kita ang disiplina. Im may be exag regarding the 6th placed finish kung sila ang nasa Tianjin but what im really impressed about is the way they play as a team. I dont care kung anung place pa sila as long as nakikita ko ang character ng team. I've been wishing of a team comparable to what im seeing in FIBA Europe, which i can say, the definition of a National Team, regardless of the results. Come 2012 at walang nangyaring maganda sa team na to, i wont be disappointed. We should be happy that at least were doing something different, hindi yung puro superstars na lang ng PBA na kulang sa preparasyon ang laging pinapadala.

  9. the smart gilas team gives every pinoy basketball fan something to hope for and wake up each morning which we lost with the formation of a pro league some 34 years ago.

Ganda ng sinabi mo brod. right on target!!! :thumbsupsmiley: Thanks din kay btljc for sharing this article by chris tiu^^^ . At least, He was saved from being another "James Yap,- PBA glamour boy syndrome".

They play as if theyre in the Euro Basket tourney.

  11. one thing about MJ is that he's obsessed, very very obsessed on winning, which might explain his gambling problems. he want to kick the ass of anyone he sees. He's a very unforgiving assasin. If he's an ancient emperor in asia, he's Ghengkis Khan. Bloodthirsty.

Hes always the first one in the gym during practice and the last one to left. I bet he's even practicing even in his home or visualising every movemnet he will do before sleep. He sets an example of how a professional should be. Perfectionist, uncompromising, bad ass....

  12. any 2G (or rather iphone EDGE, gaya ng sabi ni enlightenme) users here who tried to update their phone's firmware to 3.0? i was thinking of it kasi meron sa st. francis square na nagseservice but i'm worried baka kasi mas lalong sumablay.

  13. A Jordan with no rings is just another Dr J wannabee. No doubt, Jordan is the most recognisable name when one thinks of basketball. Some people dont know what basketball is but they heard of/know Michael Jordan. he's the best there is for most of the fans......but not to everyone. To every kid playing out there... they have a "jordan" of their own.

eto lang... ever think of a basketball player before who lit up his country's national pride (atleast the level of Mannny Pacquiao or Felix Trinidad of Puerto Rico) and even came close in inspiring his country to fight for its independence. Arvydas Sabonis in his heyday as the leader of the Lithuanian "farm team" of the mighty Soviets beats the hell out of every best teams there is the Empire has to offer. Even before the eventual downfall of the Communist rule, Lithuanians already thought that they can be a great country on their own because of their supremacy just because of this big man. He's the sole reason why the US is forced to draft its pro players to the Olympics because of this guy. Now, that another level of greatness. it's beyond court.

anyway, this is a quiz for manny. what is steroid?

    A. Bits and pieces of rocks in orbit that can be found between Mars and Jupiter

    B. An electronic device that can produce music

    C. A gland in the throat/neck

    kadiri talaga yun! :thumbsdownsmiley:

Is it better than Manny's Vitwater?

    now you know... :thumbsupsmiley:

  16. thanks guys for giving me what im asking for... im just testing the waters. im just so sick of a lot of posters who kept on saying Jordan is the Best...blah blah... but didnt care to elaborate as why. and i will always respect that.

MJ is one of the most iconic personalities who we will wish to stay on the court and do his thing and never let him go outside of it. Basing on his HOF speech, It just shows what kind of person he is. Blame it on his ultra competetiveness nature that goes out of hand. Whats wrong is that he's been honored and gave speech alongside the very classy David Robinson, who, may not be a Michael Jordan in terms of accomplishments, but heads and shoulders above as a respectable human being. What a contrast. Nevertheless. He's will still be the icon of Bastketball. While the rest of the honorees gave thanks and inspiration, MJ just showed to us all that years after his retirment, he's still not at peace and still want to prove that he still have every revenge there could be. All of us may be looking up to him, but that speech made me think that even for a man of that godly status, we should pity him. He's almost no different to Michael Jackson.

  17. sa dinami dami ng mga online forums na nabasa ko, mtc included, about michael jordan, all of them are so similar. Michael is the Best Player there ever is. Michael is that... mike is this..., pero wala pa kong nababasang post na nag eexplain, bakit ba sya ang best ever basketball player in history? Stats wise? i dont think so. Most famous cguro, no doubt. Michael = Basketball Personified.

Ever imagined if he was born in Communist Russia where Arvydas Sabonis is lording over the sport? What if MJ is a filipino with same skills, can he be considered as the greatest worldwide?

I must admit he's the most perfect basketball marketing machine there ever was, but to be generally called the best, kung pag iisipan nating mabuti, is what we want to see.

To look at the basketball players as a human beings is another topic. Also with their status after they hang their shoes.

  18. The Call of Duty series - when you go for an action movie-history experience.

but when you want raw... i mean nothing but real raw blazing guns, flying bullet shells and bad enemies and rambo-like action... i go for BLACK

  19. guys patulong naman, im new to 2k series. Always been a fan of Live series since '96.
