If you like to experience Binondo Restaurants without the traffic and parking problems, go there on Holy Thursday. Visit the Binondo Church then have lunch in any of your favorite binondo eating place. This is the only time each year when I try to satisfy my binondo food craving without the hussle.

hehe not sure about that. I like to try craps but Solaire has only one craps table and a lot of people playing there but maybe later I'll try....
Its true that house edge in craps is the least together with bacarrat and blackjack if you know how to optimally play them. The odds are based on all possible result permutations in every roll of the dice and that of a 52 deck card x the number of decks used. However, in the electronic version, its just like your traditional slot machines where the house odds advantage can be pre-set.
-
Speaking of craps, I went to Okada the other day and most of their games are electronically operated games such as craps, money wheel and you could see the large 3 dice Sic Bo game which you cannot find it at Solaire those electronic games.
I also play craps because of the minimal house odds but if it is electronic then the house can electronically set the odds. Sure way to lose.

well lets hope its not overly overpriced ........ guess a try (at least once) should be enough.
Makansutra and Le Petit Souffle will be some of my upcoming posts.
family favorite at makansutra is the singaporean chili crab! really authentic
-
tried makansutra at megamall. sorry no pictures but the chili crabs and the satay with peanut sauce were very authentic just like what we had in the Hawker centers in Singapore. Anybody care to post some pictures and frs. Tks

depends what you and your friends are into. the districts all have a personality of their own. There's the Ginza district, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Odaiba, Shibuya, Odaiba, Roponggi Hills and soo much more. Depending on you and your friends' interests, pretty sure you'll find something suiting and fun in Tokyo!

Nikkei! it's in my to-go list. Soon.
just tried the place today. ordered their best sellers. I think the place is overrated! nice food presentation but taste is so-so.

deco's original iloilo la paz batchoy circa 1970's haha. anybody remembers? original batchoy with lots of bone marrow and isaw!
-
saan may pinaka masarap na original iloilo batchoy
-
the secret of good batchoy according to native ilonggos is the use of ginamos to flavor the broth. I agree!
-
Mann Han
for oyster cake
and for the crispy squid heads and tausi clams
-
so far, personally, the places mentioned is nowhere near the taste of the original iloilo batchoyans. Closest was the Deco's La Paz Batchoy at Alphaland Bldg. in Pasong Tamo, but alas, it already closed shop, with the owners deciding to keep their business in iloilo.
Maybe ilongos here in metro manila can provide us some clues.
-
any batchoyan here that can match the original ones in iloilo?
