Question:

Does anybody know how to do a good camouflage effect with an airbrush? I've trying to get a grey/black camo pattern on an Armored Core model but so far all my practice paints on plastic sheets have met with mixed results (ie, most of them suck @ss).

How can you overlap the colors and make it look like they're blending together?

Will anyone still play with me in my old school deck? I have a "discarder" theme deck, featuring Hypnotic Specters, Hymn to Tourach, The Rack, Dark Ritual, Disrupting Scepter, Dark Banishing, Mindstab Thrull, etc., etc.... How about a Demonic Tutor? Or a Strip Mine? Will anyone in the "current" Magic The Gathering world play with me with this kind of deck? I last played in my high school days way back 1996-200. Are there still anyone here playing the classic decks? (like maybe Necro deck, Lightning Bolt/Cheese deck, Counterspell deck, etc..)

Besides all the good suggestions already posted, another to consider when buying a gun is how it feels when you hold it. Too light? too heavy? Feels a little offbalance to you? Feels "wierd"? Is the grip too big for your hand? Too small? How comfortable are you when holding it?

If a gun is too light and a high caliber (eg, .45 ACP), you'll be compensating a lot for recoil. If it feels too heavy for you (eg. Desert Eagle .50AE) you might want to consider something lighter. Remember, how long do you plan on holding it while in competition? How's your arm and wrist doing after lugging and shooting that hand cannon all day?

Question: do gun ranges in the Phil rent guns for use at the range? If so, it'd be a great way to "test drive" a weapon before buying it?

I had a Colt Delta Elite 10mm until I cracked my last spare barrel. After that, I had to sell it off for parts...no more replacement barrels being sold in my area.

Now, I only have 2 ParaOrdnance P14s. One has an ambidextrous slide release (it's still new), the other has a match grade barrel and holosight.

If you're going to get a PG model you can't just assemble it out of the box. It's too good of a model to be treated like a 1/144. It needs to be painted and detailed. If you don't, it's a waste of s good model.

1/100. I've had it with the 1/144s. I want more detail and challenge. I'm basically "saving up" for the 1/60 PG Wing Zero.

If you haven't gotten it yet, set aside about 4-5 months of free time in order to file, primer, paint, and assemble the headache inducing, duling making SOB. Too many small parts parts, needs a lot of work, but in the end it's worth it if you did a good job.

i have old coins and paper bills. well not so old, coins during the marcos era 70s most of them, some 80s but obviously they are not in circulation anymore. can i still have them replaced or sell? would banks still accept them if i deposit it?

 

would appreciate your advice.

Don't know about other banks but BDO doesn't accept bills that are out of circulation. I ended up selling most of my Marcos-era P2 bills on eBay and Craigslist.
