I dont remember if I posted it, but in one conversation with a chairman of a publishing group, he shared to me that for quite a while now, there is a very wealthy group who funds many publishing houses and in exchange, the publishers should use their writers. The group not only gives money but travel junkets to europe, etc. It is in this context that one of the books written by one of the group's writers mentions that Martial Law was the golden age of Philippine History.

I would really love if the country gets their acts straight with the Marcoses. They should be put in the history books and remain their forever. They had their plunderous and murderous regime.
