    for the meantime, my share:

    Obeertime

Corner Chino Roces and Dela Rosa in Makati

40-50 PHP (depende sa beer); pulutan: seafood specialty nila but you only have 2 choices to have it with: grilled or deep fried.

it's an institution. been there since my father's time. Though they upgraded their facility and floor area, but it remained essentially the same. Its pure unadulterated boozing!

it was a classic game. never say die. may pag-asa sana manalo...kaso, tsk! ganun talaga eh....kaya nga masarap manuod ng basketball, dba?

having have watched all the teams play already....prediction ko, pag natapos itong eliminations, it will be #1 alaska, #2 bgk.

quarterfinals: TNT, SG, bmeg, ROS...... malakas kutob ko, ma-eliminate ang SMB this conference dahil sa most recent blockbuster trades nila.

  4. been reading the recent articles of late about Gilas.

meron isa, saying that Toroman wants to tap no less than 5 PBA stars?

    Kay labo naman!

I have a suggestion: why not, get the core of the TNT to represent RP supplemented by standouts from the Gilas?

  5. Pards, ganito lang yan ... IF Fajardo plays for SG, it MIGHT lead to an improved SG team which then MIGHT lead to more SG wins which MIGHT lead to championship contention. IF SG becomes championship contenders, it MIGHT result to more advertising mileage for Smart/PLDT which MIGHT translate to improved profitability for the company. Profitable local companies SHOULD then lead to the "promotion and attainment of economic security".

    Pasado ba sir?

    pwede saer!

  6. To answer your first question, none of the above. I used "national interest" loosely. I'm not a political science major nor am I someone who pretends to know what national interest is thus my question to you so that we're on the same page. Teka, you perceive or how Roberto Romulo perceives it? Ikaw? Alin ka sa dalawa? laugh.gif

I apologize for the typo. But what I meant to say was that Sec. ALBERTO (lets get his name right, shall we?) Romulo has so eloquently described it as and to which I am agreeable with.

The takeaway from this is not to use big words we do not fully understand in context that we have very little knowledge about.

Now, as you have clearly stated above, I believe you have exposed yourself to the board as the latter and therefore, find no more interest in your opinion as to how it became a matter of national interest of the Filipino people for Fajardo to play for Smart-Gilas over UC.

Simply putting it, anything coming out from you on the aforementioned matter, will lack substance.

  7. Yes in 5 languages. Your sarcasm didn't go unnoticed. I'll rephrase my question. What is national interest? biggrin.gif

no need to rephrase....just answer the original question

Let's cut the sarsuela short. I think Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto Romulo wherein he described it as having to do with (paraphrasing) (1) the preservation and enhancement of national security, (2) the promotion and attainment of economic security, and (3) protection of the rights of all Filipinos, wherever they may be.

Now, if you grant me the indulgence that the above is how I perceive national interest to be. Explain to me now paano at kelan naging national interest ang basketball?

    Oonga ano? Thanks for noticing.

Before I answer that, I need to know your definition of national interest.

Pagbigyan kita. Sagutin ko ang tanong mo na ito.

Oo, Yes, Si, Hai, Sim, Oui..... meron akong sagot kung ano ang national interest.

Pero, i will indulge you, paki explain kung kelan (dagdagan ko pa) at paano naging national interest ang basketball or sports?

Paki sagot lang please...no excuses, no rebuttal, no follow-up question.

Kung nde mo kaya, then let it be. No hard feelings. :D

  9. Furthermore, kelan naging national interest ang basketball or sports for that matter?

What is your definition of national interest?

  10. Does this mean that the decision of Fajardo's school supersedes national interest? unsure.gif

    No.

However, Smart-Gilas program is not a conscripting outfit, not like the army in times of war. Meaning, anyone has the constitutionally guaranteed right to refuse and to choose na maglaro kung saan nya gusto :D

Furthermore, kelan naging national interest ang basketball or sports for that matter?

pero kung bakit hindi nakuha ng SBP si Fajardo for the pool was he declined in lieu of "school obligations"

however, ang chismis is University of Cebu did not allow him to because UC is backing BAP.

  12. can we be proud for our national team? you look at the lineup of both mens basketball and soccer team. you"ll notice that almost half of the people in both teams are foreigners (legitimate or not). what is the future of philippine sports after the great pacman?

what is the future of philippine sports after the great pacman?

    SEMILYA, mula sa Puso

A 20-year program designed to breed natural born Pinoy athletes using one-half of the genes from the most talented and athletic female athletes in the world.

Makilahok!

SEMILYA, mula sa Puso for the future of the Philippine Olympic Basketball Dream

  13. Next game, December 3, Friday 5pm versus Powerade, Cuneta Astrodome. Let's get that win, GinKings! Tapos December 10, Friday 7:30pm naman versus Talk N Text, Araneta Coliseum. Maglalaro na si JC Intal nyan. :) weee!!!

    Totally agree.

TNT is the team to beat....not San Miguel.

Na-prove na ng BGK that they CAN beat every other team in the league right now, except SMB, but i will get to that later.

On SMB, na-mention ko dati that being #2 to SMB after the elimination round isn't really a bad thing.

Mainly, dahil I think kung sakaling SMB-BGK nga ang magtagpo sa best of 7 finals.....My bold prediction is BGK over SMB in 6 (maybe 7).

Sa palagay ko kasi, sa ganung head-to-head, malaki bentahe ng coaching experience ng BGK (in Jong and Siot) over SMB's Ato Agustin. Aside from the wealth of head coaching experience they have combined.....Siot is after all, SMB's head coach up until this conference.

So feeling ko, dehado ang SMB sa fine adjustments na kayang gawin ni JonSi or JongOt :D

Kaya suma total.....BGK-TNT sa December 10, is the game to watch, truth be said, baka nga ito na ang maging finals preview.

  14. hanapin natin ang nanay ni shaq, KG, PP at Lebron para kay amante laugh.gif mr. amante ang alam ko against ka sa artificial birth control, so for sure you want it to be natural reproduction with those moms laugh.gif

pwede ba sa tennis na lang?

Although we all know that the seed money ng SBP galig din kay MVP

if that being the case, ano pakialam natin kung saan ubusin ni MVP ang pera nya?
