Monster Hunter Stories 3. Might be the most engaging JRPG combat system I've encountered while also translating MH mechanics really well.

lucky you, crimson butterfly remake out now. not fond of remakes but for those hankering for more fatal frame, now is your time.

for those on a budget, can recommend most models of sony earbuds. lasts me years at a time and the sound quality is still decent.

luckily i have a friend willing to dm for the rest of my circle, i wouldnt have gotten into dnd otherwise. warlock and paladin i feel are good for beginners. both scale off charisma so the player can experience being the face without compromising easy combat usage. paladin even has training wheels on how to rp with the oaths.

m1911, snake match from mgs3. watching snake nerd out about its customizations makes me want one too.
-
cast off figs from japan, and transformers. babes and robots, my 2 interests.

i'd say metal gear, but kojima's gone. yu-gi-oh is still fun if you can stop your opponent from having his turn. won't be fun for him though lol.

Ace Combat Zero, no question.

Minamoto no Raikou from the Fate series. Rockin' bod, capable, doting. or Narumeia from Granblue. Same traits.
-
taimanin series if you just want visual novels. if you want gameplay also, anything developed/published by alicesoft. they're the most popular ones for good reason.

NES Emulator on my mom's work pc back in my elementary school days. used to go there after school and found out the tech guys at her workplace were installing it for funsies. after that, i asked for a psp since i wanted to play games on the go as a graduation gift, played persona 3 portable for hundreds of hours and poof. that decided what was gonna be my hobby for decades to come.

Cyberpunk 2077. varied character progression, plenty of weapons, great mobility beat only by titanfall 2, good on both melee and ranged combat. great story as a bonus. if cyberpunk doesn't count, then Titanfall 2. Uncontested best pure FPS game. Best mobility in any first person game, high skill ceiling, good progression, and mechs. also has a great campaign.

Life is strange. barely a game, awful characters.
-
oh, peace walker. the real mgs5. can't wait to finish it a 3rd time.
-
with an emulator, your pc can be a console.
-
right now, hopped back into overwatch. domina is one fine character
-
almost anything, as long as i like the visual/art style. that matters to me more than genre.
-
i mean, subjective yan, pero para sakin Cyberpunk 2077. great story, great character progression, great setting, great visual style, best first person combat i've played for both melee and ranged. i have very few complaints and they're all minimal side stuff that one can avoid entirely.

welp, thanks for the heads up. though 110 is hard to do with with the daily posting limit. -
Expedition 33, still, bloody good game. and the lead dev used to post no-hit DMC Vergil boss fights. Guy is clearly an avid gamer himself. Also planning to get back to Ninja Gaiden 4 soon. dlc's about to be released, apparently.

Got it, many thanks for the info.
