It all started with a hand-me-down japanese ps1 and two games, Ape Escape and I believe the other one was Soul Calibur or another sword-based fighting game, both of which were in japanese. I couldn't understand any of the text, but thankfully Ape Escape had visual aids so I still finished it.

Amazing zombie game. Played both this and dying light and I gotta say, while I liked DL's parkour, DI's combat is better imo + the gore factor is better especially when you cut limbs. The slow mo that happens when you do that makes the dismemberment more satisfying. The best mod is definitely the impact mod because you can just let either gravity or walls do the job for you when it procs and yeets the zoms away from you.

The .hack series hands down.
