The concept of a war on drugs has always baffled me. How the fuck do you win against drugs?? You can't kill it. There's always someone who can learn how to make it. There's always someone fucked up enough to use it. There's always someone who will sell and pay for it. Idk, drug abuse has always seemed to me like a symptom of a bigger problem in a society and not the root cause of it. If you can't address that main problem, a war on drugs will feel like cutting off a hydra's head; the problems will just keep on coming back and multiplying.
