The one and only solution to our traffic problems and perhaps most congestion problems is Hank Pym.

From the MMDA. See: https://www.reddit.c...ternate_routes/

I was in Makati just today. No discernible difference in street parked vehicles in the backstreets traversing Kalayaan or JP Rizal. Moreso in the areas adjacent to Circuit going towards Manila. Same thing with Mandaluyong, and this route in particular was traffic-heavy because it's the one leading to the bridge in the Rockwell vicinity. Still many cars parked on the road.

In any case, there was a recent announcement that the implementation of this new scheme has been suspended, even as the dry run is ongoing. This obviously wasn't thought through.

There is no quick fix for EDSA traffic. There needs to be a holistic, inter-city approach that examines public transport efficiency, traffic flow in and out of city roads, and choke points along all of the circumferential and radial roads. For as long as the MMC does not recognize this reality, we'll keep getting band-aid solutions to this problem.

Most probably. I hope they could alleviate this situation sooner esp ber monhts is approching

If they focus on campaign vs. side street parking, i.e. forcing car owning residents to have a garage for their vehicles instead of parking along the street, we can solve the problem faster.

In Tokyo, you can't buy a car unless you can show that you have a parking space for it.

I thnk the mmda shd create additional 4 sidewalk and illegal Park clearing teams with cops and camera on different locations at the same time to make the clearing efficient.

T@π9Iπan9 traffic sa Kalentong!!!
Ruins the day of citizens of Manila that works or studies in Mandaluyong / Pasig area.

The construction of Sevilla Bridge is snail paced - it's more than 6 months already and it's still not finished. Arhggg. Kainis.

Make the metro walkable. Masmadalas ako maglalakad kung maayos sidewalks at maraming halaman. Parang bgc at some parts ng makati.

Panget din tlaga ang transpo system ng pinas. Kaya lahat gusto magkaron ng sarili nila sasakyan

Biruin mo sa halagang P5,000 may kotse ka na sa baba ng mga downpayment ngayon. No wonder everyone has cars but dont have a parking lot.

Yes, yung iba ang gaganda ng kotse pero wala palang parking. I see Fortuners and Monteros parked on the road side because the owners have no parking.

With our inflation and at the rate the price of fuel has been rising, our traffic problem will solve itself.

Less people will be able to afford gas for their cars and the lubricants and spare parts to maintain those vehicles.

Survival of the fittest, or better yet, survival of the fittest wallet.

Eventually we'll see less cars on the road.

Brilliant strategy, Mr. President!

Don't forget his tokhang program will also bring the poor population down, therefore less people on the streets.
