hero168
going southbound (to manila) slow down when u get to pulilan, pag minalas ka andyan na siya bubulaga sa gitna (parada sila sa damo). or sometimes its near tabang overpass, nasa side, parked. pag after bocaue, ayos uli pwede hataw. going north, i remember they position themselves after san fernando exit, so just keep it to 100 past san fernando. they use unmarked cars to spot, innova white, hilux silver. also pag dating ng padilim no more speed radar kz they have to photograph the vehicle for evidence so pag madilim na, can't take photo kaya walang speed radar Quote Link to comment

izzyzc
Bihira ako maka-encounter ng traffic jam sa NLEX.... Unlike sa SLEX... Grabe dun! Parang EDSA! Quote Link to comment
tacio
ginagawa na naman between malinta and maycauayan. always traffic. not worth the P38 we pay. two lanes na lang kasi. at least dati mas mura na, pwede pa daan sa shoulder pag traffic. e ngayon, mahal na, trafic pa. isa pa problema yung d pantay ang daan. konti nga lubak pero alon alon naman ang daan. parang nakasakay ka sa barko. Take note. la problema shocks o suspension ng sasakyan. kalsada ang problema Quote Link to comment
boy_bawang2
For the most part the pavement is rather good and you can speedup to your delight (except where those highway cops are stationed with their radar guns). Hope the toll fees dont go much higher. Quote Link to comment
tombone
is very nice expressway only the price is a bit over. If they only allow to have the top speed up to 150 then much better :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
cruesome
Road is neat. courteous (and most of the time beautiful) toll booth personnels. The fees, guess pareho lang sa SLEX Grade A (magallanes-alabang) section  Patrol cops are there for our safety, though i'm hitting 150-160 pag wala patrol sa unahan. Quote Link to comment
pogingpogi
meron nga daw may speed radar gun sila...nahuli na yung friend mo sabi nga nila pag 5pm yan wede ka na magmatulin kase dina daw nababasa ng radar yun kase mejo mmadilim na Quote Link to comment
• dShock •
A friend of mine told me that he read in the newspaper that there are 4 speed radar in NLEX.Yun lang hindi sinabi kung saan nakapwesto yung apat na radar. Quote Link to comment
tacio
usuali sa mga overpass or near the exit sila nakapwesto. saka sabi sa top gear, pag gabi na useless na radar nila. Quote Link to comment
easyhard
The dictum for speedters is that you have to go with the pack. Never overspeed solo dahil you can easily be singled out. Makisabay ka sa karamihan ng motorist. Pag marami kayo, hindi sila manghuhuli. Kung mayroon man, it is the lead vehicle who is overspeeding who is more prone to being flagged down. I never overspeed on my own, hinihintay ko na may mauna sa akin na ilang kotse at doon ako makikisabay. It works for me. Edited August 2, 2007 by easyhard Quote Link to comment
Flash Sentry
yeah, i learned my lesson the hard way... although if you ask me, i think the 100kph speed limit for NLEX is a tad too slow. i'd say it has to be 120kph at least. That is right. Cars these days are built for both speed and safety. 100 kph was the limit when cars could go to 120 kph max (I'm exaggerating, of course). How much is 100 kph in mph? I don't think it goes past 75 mph, the speed limit for freeways in the U.S. Heck, I was able to do 90 mph on some stretches from San Diego to Palm Springs, CA without state police coming after me. Fusarium_jimini
gagana kaya mga radar detectors na galing states? and legal ba paggamit ng detectors dito sa atin? peace! Quote Link to comment
juancarlos_enriquez
May nahuli na ba dahil dito? Or puro friend of a friend lang nahuhuli? Quote Link to comment
troubleshooter8
Ako so far so good di pa naman. Anyway, listen to the advise of our co-MTC's. Ung hassle pag nahuli ka and mabigat. Be safe when driving. Quote Link to comment
Abdul_Jackool
matanong ko lang mga peeps, saan ba madalas ma flag down going onwards to North(Pampanga, Bulacan) or coming from the North(going back to balintawak)? Quote Link to comment
martigar
there are two radar installed at nlex, one is at meyc exit and other one is at tabang, these radar works only during day time when the sun is up shining. coupled kc sya sa isang digi cam kaya pag madilim na d na readable plate num mo. so at night pede ka na mag patulin hangang sa maubusan ka ng daan.. he he he btw, the fastest recorded or speed radard car was a white porsce running 199kms only!! now beat that Quote Link to comment
Flash Sentry
Yan nga sabi ko e--if you have a car that can run at that speed, it would just be a waste to have it since you can't even enjoy it. I don't know--why are we stuck with a Jurassic Age speed limit? Quote Link to comment
