hottlipss Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 my ex-fiancee who was a body builder and a personal trainerwas forcing me to squat this weight that it was impossible for me to carry (about 300 lbs yata yun)...I hurt my back coming up from my squat position...I was in tears and he was still forcingme to go finish my set...now I suffer from sciatica the other injury was when I was on this thread mill and I lost my gripand feel while flying across the room...hit my chin and biting my lower lipand tongue- making a bloody mess and scene...the most embarrassing part is that there were room full of peoplewatching me...dang! pa-cute pa naman ako...never been back to that gym since then Quote Link to comment

It really stretches your muscles so for one reason or another, I don't get injured that often because of it.... I guess free weights when used with poor form together with too much weight can do more harm than good... Just my own opinion... Quote Link to comment

vince1000 Posted January 7, 2007 Share Posted January 7, 2007 table tennis twisted my right knee, tore my cartilege, extreme pain. rotated the whole thing. broke my left knee. including acl and a whole lot of other things. as long as your into high speed, sprint stop sports, expect to damage your knees eventually. esp. if you want to excel. too bad. now i cant compete anymore Quote Link to comment

ZedX7 Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 dislocated left and right shoulders. first time that happened, doctor asked me to just give it a rest. ayun hanggang ngayon natatanggal pa rin siya. acl tear left knee, bad landing from playing volleyball. right leg just below the knee may bumukol, hurts when pressing it and landing from a jump. right hip joint dislocated while making love, kakahiya.
