some proteins (whey animal protein), supplements and enhancers are not safe and has side effects like kidney and liver problems. Natural method is still advised by well known doctors. try using phyto-protein, it is safe and effective.

I hope you wouldn't mind being specific here. And I really don't think that there's a study to directly link whey protein supplementation with liver and kidney problems. There are millions of Whey protein consumers in the world. People who may have developed kidney or liver problems is a tiny fraction of the whole pie. It's not safe to conclude that whey is the culprit since whey is a "natural" by product of milk and cheese processing.

As for kidney and liver problems, I think it's safer to say that drugs like anabolic steroids, diuretics and hormone replacement teraphies posses biger threats.

Any feedback on IMPACT WHEY? This was the whey protein I used when I was working-out last year. Might give this one another shot since it's cheap and effective. Is there any other better (but also cheap) brands?

Some of my former high school friends were the group behind Mirrus, the company who developed the "Impact" brand whey protein. For me it's a decent protein supplement but I can name a lot of brands (imported) that's far superior. For one, I wouldn't consider it cheap since I personally can obtain ON's 100% whey at a cheaper cost with more protein content per serving. Moreover, Impact whey may not be the best choice for people who restrict their carb and sugar intake. Yes, Impact whey is "tastier and more creamy" than it's counterparts. Nevertheless, if you think it works for you, go ahead and continue what you're using.

Personally, I'd recommend ON's 100% whey, Dymatize Elite Whey or for the cheaper alternative try ABB (American Bodybuilding - sister company of Optimum Nutrition) Whey Pro. These are by far the cheapest and most decent whey protein supplements out there.

Thanks for the reply bro! But i guess you misread my post/sentence. it's really true that there is no direct link in whey protein (Plant Protein) as a culprit in kidney and liver problem. as i've said some whey protein, supplements and enhancers... What i mean is there are some whey protein supplements that has additives like what you've mentioned. now, when it comes to animal whey protein there is a study that too much of it can trigger side effects. I'm sorry but i can't go on specifics right now because i'm late for work. i'll answer your querries soon. have a great day!
