Looking At You (shades And Eyewear)

Might as well start one about sunglasses and eyewear. So, anyone here collecting? Recently bought one at SM Baguio--Spyder Rampage 3D. Nothing fancy--it looks something like an Oakley knock-off. Costs less, too (only P295). That got me started looking around for shades and stuff, though I still cringe at the prices of some.

im using just two.... first is a Rayban (i forgot the model). simple lang sya. the second, mojave interchangables i got from TV shopping.

I also have a RayBan somewhere around. I'd like to start a collection of shades. Kaso lang the branded ones cost a lot, so I might opt for less expensive ones. Of course, I might still get one or two branded shades, just for bragging purposes.

I have quite a number of shades although I'm not collecting. It's the result of buying at least a pair come summer time.

1 Adidas (my favorite), bought it in 1999 yet ok pa rin up to now. Wrap around with iridium lens.

1 Rayban (same model worn by Jack Bauer in 24)

1 MNG (got it for P 600 at Mango, Shangri-La Plaza)

maybe because i've had bad eyesight since i was a kid, but i'm a big fan of eyewear.

 

have 3 eyeglasses and 2 shades. all of them different styles to suit my changing moods.

I have two: Gucci n D&G, but i like wearing Gucci more, classic kse & well-framed sya sa face ko.

Been wearing prescription specs (+4.25 and +3.75) since my elem days; currently i have 3 specs im alternating on certain days and moods, the frames of which are - DIESEL, SAFILO and HUGO BOSS (compressed glass, super nipis).

 

Isa lang ang shades ko (again, prescription ) - my good ol' POLICE.

I used to wear an eyeglass (D & G) pero luminaw na mata ko ngayon so hindi na.

2.2 WATAK (walang tatak.. hehehe)

2.2.3 fake na rayban na mukhang oakley - P70 lang sa Boracay

Being an avid long distance driver since 16 years of age, and a contact lens wearer since i dont remember when, shades have always been a part of me. I only use one brand: Rayban. At the moment, I have a killer loop and an old photochromatic pair.

 

But the past ten years or so, I have lost, destroyed, dropped in the water, or run over about half a dozen Rayban aviator shades, including my favorite limited edition aviators with the light-green high-contrast RB-3 lenses.

 

Dunno, but I just can't get myself to have any other pair of shades.
