@moks - its ATI vs Nvidia poh (labanan ng chipsets). Kung high-end at high end din lang, walang binatbat ATI sa Nvidia, 8800GTX Ultra for example, hehe.

My professional suggestion, never buy a pre-built pc. di ka kasi sure kung ok yung parts, minsan pangit pa ng specs. tama yung suggestion nung iba, download a pricelist from some pc shops, i prefer pc express. i just assembled my 2nd pc for a little under 27000, complete na yun with 17 inch lcd monitor. you just have to know what specs to buy.

 

i would suggest ask for a technicians advice before you buy...

if he's using a 32-bit OS, i doubt that. known issue na kasi sa mga 32-bit OS ang 4GB na memory. i think max na yung 3GB sa nadedetect nya.

worth 97k lang ang pc ko. sobra naman yung 120-140k.

 

yes, nababasa ng OS ko yung 4GB n memory. And im using XP 32bit. You just have to update your bios.

dude try to update your bios. Ano b gamit mong board? Kahit kc yung ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe ko, nababasa nya yung 4GB na memory in XP 32x

Notes/Recommendations:

1. I upgraded or basically replaced my old PC for Windows Vista compatibility.

2. After using the Windows Vista Home Premium edition for a week, I decided to revert back to Windows XP - do not buy into the good looks of Vista like myself, you'll just be disappointed and wasting your money just like me. Even with all the components that I brought in are compatible with Vista as marketed, there were still a lot of issues on compatibility during actual use .... too many to discuss in this post.

3. I bought the Logitech gaming keyboard basically because of its backlight ... so I can use it at night even with the lights off. Well, it serves that purpose, but I'm quite disappointed because it's too big, taking a lot of space on my computer table - not recommended, try looking at the products of Razer if you're a gamer.

4. My Altec speakers are quite old, I'm eyeing the Bose Companion 5 speakers to complement my new PC ... tagal kasi ng bonus, sana pasko na
