PeterNorth
Nice rig dude. Wish I coud have one also . Well your processor according to my research has the Venice Core with 512Kb of L2 Cache. Name of processor cores are named by their size of cache (512KB, 1MB Cache ). U have pix of your rig? Could you show me some? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gusto ko sana kaso shy siya eh. Ayaw niya magpa-picture lalo na kung lalabas sa MTC. Pero I went with the black with silver trim color scheme para compaq-look. From the monitor to the case to the mouse to the Altec Lansing spekers it's all black with silver trim. :thumbsupsmiley: The processor is brand new sealed in a box. Hindi ko na pinakabitan ng 1.44" floppy disk para walang kung anu-ano ang pinapasok doon pag wala ako. Quote Link to comment
kenji_1989
Aw sige na tol ako nga mas nakakhiya rig q e....P4 2.66 LGA and in fairness, ANG PANGIT NIYA SA GAMING. Kaya nga palit ako sa Socket 754 na 2.0Ghz e para mas mabilis. Quote Link to comment

TasmanianDevil
I finally got my rig together yesterday. It has been a long time since I last assembled one (1999), and my PC's after that were outright bundled purchases. So I was a bit lost at the start. Here are the essentials: AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 4200+MSI K8N Diamond plus w/ Nforce 4 SLI x16MSI SLI-Geforce 7900GT 256 MB2GB DDR PC4002 WD Caviar SE 16 - 250GB each 300MB/s 16MB cache 7200rpm in SATA-RAID 0Asus DVD-RAM/ROM drive and burnerCreative X-Fi Platinum soundcardLogitech Z-5450 5.1 speakersSennheiser PC-160 headsetSamsung 215tw 21" widescreen LCDCool Master Centurion ATX Mid tower caseXion 600w SLI power supplyLogitech wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse F.E.A.R. looks awesome at maxed out settings with 99% frame rates above 35, maximum frames at 85. Native resolution is 1680x1050. Same performance with Far Cry. DVD playback is excellent and with THX surround. Plus I hooked up my HDTV cable box to the monitor too. I think i need a bigger monitor, but 21" will do for now. Besides it's only me who uses this. The rest of my family goes to the living room. Suddenly I feel like a kid with a new toy!
