deathsaurer
kanino kayo nagagalingan sa apat na british bands na ito!? sa akin ang hirap mamili ,but ang pinaka paborito ko talaga ay Oasis. Quote Link to comment
marian6453
Sorry if it's not what you maybe looking for... but I really cant help it---U2 pa rin po. Quote Link to comment
deathsaurer
Sorry if it's not what you maybe looking for... but I really cant help it---U2 pa rin po. Quote Link to comment
Immortal666
Sorry if it's not what you maybe looking for... but I really cant help it---U2 pa rin po. U2 is Irish not British. They come from the Republic of Ireland not the British-occupied Northern Ireland which is part of the UK. The british band ever is BLACK SABBATH. How can you forgot about them? Quote Link to comment

amante
Para sa akin Oasis. I think deathsaurer meant best British na active. If you're talking about all time best British band, then mahaba habang debate magkakaroon dito. You of course have The Beatles, The Rolling Stones. Can Cream be considered British, at least I know Clapton is. Pero kung ka contemporay lang ng Black Sabbath ang pagbabatayan hands down...........LED ZEPPELIN will take the prize any day. As good as Sabbath is, I dont think biting the head off a bat would qualify as good music. Just a thought! Peace! Quote Link to comment

Would your perception of Sabbath change if you found out that this happened later in Ozzy's career and during his solo career when he was already out of Sabbath? Have you actually heard Sabbath or all you know from them is that Ozzy, that crazy dove/bat-decapitator, was a member? We all have our preferences but to disregard a band's music merely because of an antic done by a member who was already kicked out of the band when it occured...it's just damn stupid. I don't even think you've heard of Sabbath and Zep equally to make a valid comparison. Yeah maybe you heard a couple Sabbath songs like Paranoid, Changes and oh god, did he really bite the head off a bat? How disusting. Their music may suck if they resort to such gimmickry. Peace ba? Ok peace but get your facts straight before running your mouth. Quote Link to comment

For me, coldplay is excellent though now they're buncha airheads coz of fame. Radiohead was awesome back in their first three albums (Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer), they now suck coz it seems they explored too much on their music now they've lost their identity. Oasis, was great on their first album (Defintely Maybe), then I realized their just a buncha Beatles wannabes. For Blur, well I only liked one song from them (To The End). IMHO, the best Brit band right now is The Darkness. But honestly its Belle and Sebastian. Edited June 14, 2004 by dj_flip03 Quote Link to comment
gwaposana
ang daming malupit na british bands!!! accent pa lang nila trip ko na, hehe. it was really hard to choose from coldplay and radiohead. pero siyempre radiohead ako. la lang, one of the best kasi yung the bends. i don't mind them exploring so much, mga artist talaga eh... hitman531ph
It would be unfair to limit the best Brit bands to the four mentioned above. By the way, U2 is from Ireland. From the 60s up to now, British bands showed talent and popularity worldwide. The Beatles, Spandau Ballet, The Clash, Wham!, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Big Country, Genesis, Thompson Twins, The Police, The Blow Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears were some of Britain's contributions to the world The British Invasion occurs every so often in the music scene Quote Link to comment
