bods1000
Oy pare, kumusta na? Thanks for the info. Will check it out (as the late Howlin' Dave used to say). Have no idea if The Madman is still around. Oh yeah, Frank Zappa was something else. No one seems to be playing that kind of music. Was just listening to God Save the Queen of Sex Pistols a while back and some Led Zep II songs. Let the good times roll! am good, pare. Thanks!Hope you and your family are doing well too.yeah we won't hear the kind of music FZ created. FZ left us too soon. An original iconoclast - didn't care what he wrote or whether his music would sell but he was one great composer and one of the best ever guitarists that walked this planet. The Rock and Roll Machine last Sunday was great. Ang dami ko na namang nadinig na songs which I haven't heard for a long time. Cousin Hoagy played George Harrison's LOVE COMES TO EVERYONE as sung and performed by Eric Clapton. Ang galing! Brought back a lot of memories. Had to dig out the song sa Limewire and after some lengthy searching which took a few days, nakuha ko din hehehe... Quote Link to comment
storm
Kahapon pinirmahan ang Proclamation no. 1081. On Septmeber 23, 1972, Martial Law was announced in the "media". Bagong Lipunan daw. Pinagdiskitahan mga buhok ng mga hippies kuno. 1972 was the year na kay daming no classes because of natural and political calamities. In September 1972, I had an accident, broken nose and left wrist. In September, 2008, I had an accident, pulled left calf muscle. Quote Link to comment
johannlucas
I'd recall that every SUNDAY back in the 70's was very gloomy since the establishments then is CLOSED And CUHRCH is the only place to go during those times Quote Link to comment

Uy :thumbsupsmiley: Ateneo-La Salle Rivalry in the NC back in the 70s ws also hot as it is today...we still recall the likes of Ateneo's Cleofas, Afable, Ross, Arnaiz vs. La Salle's equally formidable Arhers Lim. Trillo, Bilbao. On the record, DLSU won more varsity championships in the NC than ADM in the early 70s until ADM joined UAAP in 78 and DLSU followed in 86. Quote Link to comment
