I hope they have our old tv shows on archive so that they can show them again, like Lucy. Seeing the stills of photographer from Tangtarangtang made me nostalgic. For that matter I would like to see again Tisoy, Baltic and Co., Cafeteria Aroma, Buhay Artista, the old variety show of Oscar Obligacion, even the old game show of Jeanne Young - Spin A Win hehehe

Oo nga pala, si Tisoy anak ni Aling Otik, Cafeteria Aroma with Apeng and Miniong, Buhay Artista, yung translation nina Dolphy at Panchito, isama na natin yung 60s, Oras ng Ligaya nina Oscar Obligacion, Sylvia La Torre, Vic Pacia, etc., yung Darigold Jamboree, old Student Canteen, Tawag ng Tanghalan nina Lopito at Pachi, Fistorama and the old MICAA games.

Hehehe pare this has been posted here before but I'd like to repeat it. The real name of Aling Otik in the cartoon series is Narkotika Vda. De Clipeticlap lol!

No pare I think yung anak ni

I forgot who the others were...

Nagkaroon ng mutation later on yung Tisoy wherein naging prominent na yung mga animal characters who would now talk, act and do common human foibles. Nandun si Blidit, yung frog. Tapos si Bos Miyawok, the cat, who was tormenting the mice whose names escape me now hehe..

oh yes. Sina Gemmo nga pala and Maribubut...wow! Nice to see those strips again here. Thanks po, Mr photographer.

I used to see Jimmy Morato in our parish hearing Mass every Sunday about 10 years ago. Minsan nga nagkatabi kami tapos binati ko. He still had the same good looks, albeit older and with a paunch. Nowadays I don't see him here anymore.

I also remember back when I was growing up in Pasig seeing all these movie bad guys hanging around in our place. Dun yata sila nakatira dati. I used to see Rod Navarro there, also johnny Monteiro, and Max Alvarado, and also this big bald guy who always played the Berdugo in those old movies. I forgot his name.

In contrast to these goodlooking bad guys like Rod, Johnny Monteiro, Eddie Garcia, Paquito Diaz, andyan din yung mga sobrang pangit na talagang mga kontrabida nuon.

Si Ngongo yata yung kasama nung sikat na radio announcer dati, now what was his name, and this announcer would always make Ngongo say Bataan Matamis,

And Ngongo being what he is, would always make us listeners laugh out loud every single day with his enunciation of Bataan Matamis.

Si Kuya Cesar ang pinakanakaka-antok na announcer hahaha with his oh so slow delivery of lines pero sinasadya nya talaga ito pero we would laboriously listen to his very very very slow spiels because it entertained us totally.

Thanks pre, for a while there I got confused between Rafael Yabut and Johnny de Leon. Lundagin Mo Baby was a favorite radio show. Masaya ito at nakakagising talaga. Para bang yung show ni Mike Enriquez sa dzBB ngayon sa umaga, with news, commentaries. Mas masaya nga lang nun kay Johnny de Leon kasi ang sidekick nya ngongo so whenever he would ask Ngongo to comment on something, tawanan na kasi wala kang maintindihan sa sinasabi.

Kamusta pareng bods! Baka kasi kahit walang palaman ay "tasty" na or kailangan ang palaman to be tasty? :P

Jack's Hamburger sa Caloocan and QC.
