I ve already tried the beta version of the WIN XP 64 (downloaded from windows.com) but I did not fully experienced the system since I don't have all the 64bit drivers for my hardware. Desktop, its like the 32bit edition, nothing new and neither does the control panel as well as any other programs. The OS needs at-least a Gig of RAM to work. Programs which are 32bit can run in the 64bit environment only problem is that performance tends to go down when using Intel (probably not with Itanium) rather than AMD.

 

Now, I am waiting for the Longhorn (ETA 2006) which has quite impressive review scores.

wala pa ba bad sectors yang H.D. mo? kasi minsan un din cause ng hang ups and minsan virus/adware din pero sabi mo naman wala na detect... sa ram check mo nalang kung maayos pag kakabit sa slot or linisin mo kung madumi na... minsan din pag kulang ram mo or mababa nag cause din hangups yon... last baka sa setup din ng mobo mo...

I have a PC problem

Recently lang

Ung ilaw ng PC ko lights up every minute or so

Tas nag "lolock up"/"nag hahang" pc ko

Dati nangyari na to pero pansin ko,eh nung tinaggal ko ung hard disk tas binalik ko ulit medyo nawala problema

 

Tas ngayon ganun din problema ko ulit,bmumalik nanaman ung sumpong ng pc ko..

Gastos naman kung bibili pako ng panibagong Hard disk

Nag scan nako using 2 AV's,spyware scanners ok narin,tas registry scanner,scandisk at other diskscaners like systemworks..

I really have no clue what the prob is.

Pwede kayang tulad ng dati na maluwag lang hard disk cables sa loob or bad ram? Nakaka inis kasi kahit habang nag susurf ako biglang naghahang.

 

Di na tuloy ako makapag games kasi hinto ng hinto =/

hmm.. common problem ito sa office namin when personnel will download and install multiple programs with scans (ie norton, spyware, e-trust antivirus, adware scans). Baka naman napakarami mo nang programs that are running in the background?

 

try disabling/unistalling some programs.

dude, common problem yan sa mga pc's na we don't get to maintain regularly (defrag, scandisk, scanning for viruses, etc..) usually sa dami ng programs running on the background causes it to hang or to crash. what i do is, back up all my important files and reformat it. if you really wanna thoroughly clean your pc, i suggest you do. bring your pc to a very big table and remove each part one by one (that is if you know how to put thme back together again. and clean the mobo with brush, paint brush will do. remove everything inlcuding cables, HDD, Floppy, CDRom, memory, and processor and fat.. i mean ALL, dust also causes the processor to heat up blocking the air from the fan. If you feel confident doing this you'll be fine. after reinstalling them back, the software comes in, try booting up with your windows xp cd installer and reformat your HDD using NTFS, (works best for Windows XP) then after the OS, drivers.. etc. you'll be surprised how fast your pc is running again. Good luck! this always works for me.

Pero syempre hardware muna first for me,pag ganun padin, i'll try reinstalling.

Mas mahirap kasi pag reinstall inunna ko hehe dami progs at drivers ang babalik ko ulit.

Hope its just a case of loose cables not a virus which is undetectable

 

And whats irritating is hinde lang siya once hahang,ung tipogn restart lang katapat.Every other minute or so,which is very annoying kasi kahit nag brobrowse ka hihinto..Di lang sa games.

Kasi kung sa games lang,siguradong video card may problema. =)

sana nga bro, and nothing serious. hirap kasi pag hardware na problem eh, mag iisolate ka pa and rendered useless yung pc for the meantime.

Since you are working in Makati, I suggest you consider the best law school in Makati... the Ateneo College of Law in Rockwell.

 

They offer a 5 year JD program for working students. Some working students managed to finish the course in four years.

old na yan pare. parttion magic is usually used when the os is already installed. it just makes the management (deleting, resizing, creating) of your partitions easier.

 

for new/blank HDs, however, its better to use the tool that came with your os cd.

you said it right bro :cool: tska ok talaga yan ex. kung dati wla ka partition tapos gusto mo maglagay ng partition para sa backup files dahil mag reformat ka, un pwede mo sya gamitin kahit may installed os kana pwede pa rin basta may free space pa hd mo... kc running ung program sa windows mode.

The night classes usually start at 6 pm... Some electives are scheduled on saturdays. Check the ADMU College of Law website for more details... and good luck
