here are the prohibited acts in RA8484

Section 9. Prohibited Acts. — The following acts shall constitute access device fraud and are hereby declared to be unlawful:

(j) obtaining money or anything of value through the use of an access device, with intent to defraud or with intent to gain and fleeing thereafter;

from the point of view of the collection agencies and the law offices acting as collection agencies for these card companies, i think it is their position that once someone uses his credit card (so meaning, you acquire goods/anything of value - like when u use it to pay for jeans, mobile phones or to get money as in cash advance), the card owner becomes liable under this provision. however, what is really material is the presence of the other two elements: intent to defraud AND to flee after that. hence, it is important in order to avoid being prosecuted under this provision, the card holder must inform the credit card company of any change of address. as far as i can remember, i think further down below this Section is a definition of what constitutes intent to defraud or the circumstances constituting such.

Other than that, parang wala namang limitasyon. Of course, the pharmacy he opens has to be registered with and approved by the BFAD, and he has to have a registered pharmacist supervising the pharmacy.

Thanks! :)

Mga Sirs,

I have a girl friend who got married to a Japanese in Manila for the purpose of getting a spouse visa going to Japan.

The Japanese was paid a fee, so there was no sex and no actual living together. She went to Japan with a Philippine passport

carrying the surname of the Japanese national.

She had since came back to the Philippines and was wondering whether she can change her passport back to her maiden name

without the Japanese surname.

Please advise.

Thanks a lot in advance.

but i will still do the cable switch because the cd drive is acting up.

it just autoruns any cd. it won't browse or explore.

we have extra cd drives at home and we've replaced it three times already

because we're thinking its the drive but it isn't.

same thing happens whatever cd drive we put in. help!

~grrrrrrr~

if it boots to a CD i would say that the drive is ok. Its the SW causing the problem. try deleting the upper and lower filters using reg edit.

i have a problem po.

with my old old laptop.

asus t9400. LCD died on me. i think. or maybe not.

i can turn it on. but nothing happens after that. just a totally blank black screen.

i don't even hear it boot up. no bios display. no display period. what's wrong? and how much would it cost me to have it fixed?

looks like a no post issue. have you tried turning on system using ac adapter only/battery only?

do you get any lights when you turn on system? try to dc any external components and check if it makes a different.

hit me back to what happens. btw with the cost, i have no idea (so sorry).

I just recently read in one of the MP forums that a certain establishment had been "raided" by the local authorities. Among those brought to the precinct were several unfortunate clients.

I'm curious about the criminal liability of the clients. I've always thought that paying for sex was not a crime under the revised penal code. What was probably being violated was performing coitus or acts of lasciviousness in a public place, more of a violation of a local ordinance than a specific Republic Act.

All I'm aware of is that there is a statue on white slavery, which prescribes criminal liability on those who profit by prostitution. But nothing on the one who solicits the service nor the client.

I'd like to get your input please. Forgive me, but it's been a long time since I've been a lawyer. Thanks.

HELP! Im f****D!!

my bitch wife, left me for another man!

emptied our bank account!

sold all our properties!

and disappeared!

:grr:

illegally i know what to do...

what can i do legally?

Wow..........i feel for you dude  that must be horrible.......Technically she is still your wife.....and if there aren't any pre-nuptial agreements....she can take away your property from your bachelor days as if it were her own. If the properties were produced during your marriage....then all the more reason she could sell it.......pero pwede siguro ipa null mo yung sale ng properties....lalo na pagsayo nakapangalan ang titulo...why? because the sale was made in bad faith..m not sure though.....pero yung pera ....good as gone na yun......she could always have an alibi for that........ang alas mo lang siguro was that she disappeared indicating an intent to commit a criminal act.....i think you need a good lawyer for this but first......you need to find her in order to charge her.
