Jourdan
@ feelingpogi: dude...try hiking up ur ram to 512 (assuming urs is still expandable) so as not to slowdown ur laptop while running mysql or any other db... as for the others...try usb flash drives. they come in variety of capacities (128, 256, 512 MB)...they're plug n' play; no drivers needed for windows 2000 or xp ( dunno for mac though). there are even some with a built-in mp3 player... Shikura
RE flashdrives.. They have really cute flash drives in Japan. I knew I saw one that looked like an animal pero was never able to confirm. Until I saw an article about it in the T3 Mag for April. Ang cute! hehehe. The one in the mag looked like a rubber ducky. Pump it up some more. am not familiar with mysql pero If your handling your webserver using that, mas lalo na sa background, you had better pump up the mem as much as possible. Quote Link to comment

Bro, With that budget, you could probably go to a store and tell them what you want na. Unless you don't know what you want. Any specs in particular? maybe the guys here can help you out. Yo James!! Eventually kasi, you'd still be ending up upgrading the memory. Why not do it while the stocks are still available. Correction po, I'm not from America. I'm right here in the Philippines. But the Laptop, it came from Japan. Kasi here's what happens. You buy a laptop, the softwares get more demanding in terms of memory, you add memory, again things get a major upgrade. Rinse and repeat cycle. Ayun... Quote Link to comment
