I would like to respectfully disagree. While there was a lot of awesome stuff in the 90's (Rust In Peace, Seasons in the Abyss, Vulgar Display of Power albums etc) The 80's was where it was at. It was the advent of a lot of awesome thrash bands and even death metal was born with Death's debut 'Scream Bloody Gore' (RIP Chuck Schuldiner).

im not saying that they should headline the event. i'm a fan of of megadeth and slayer too. but i doubt that they would want to come here and play here.

Why wouldn't they play here? We are seeing more and more major metal bands (Arch Enemy, Testament) play in our shores. Why do you think Slayer and Megadeth would not perform here if given an offer?

 

And suppose they choose not to play here, there are a whole lot of other bands that should be offered to play here than mutherf#&ken' Parkway Drive.
