nevershaveagain Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 What I mean by metalheads is that you listen to heavy metal music and its various permutations (traditional, black, death, thrash, speed, power, stoner, industrial, goth, grind). Nu-metal (or mallcore. i.e. Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park) is not included since it's not really metal, just whiny, lame rock. I'm referring to real, proud and loud, bonafide metal bands such as: IRON MAIDEN, BLACK SABBATH, MEGADETH, SLAYER, TESTAMENT, ANTHRAX, old-METALLICA, old-SEPULTURA, PANTERA, IN FLAMES, CARCASS, NAPALM DEATH, EMPEROR, DARKTHRONE, IMMORTAL, AT THE GATES, KREATOR, MORBID ANGEL, DEATH, DEICIDE and many others. So are there any here? Count me in ! Well Im not into old school music just like the the bands above, im taking it to another level and listening to a more newer version of it.... Well guys past is past listen to the new bands out there like All that remains, As i lay dying. Bring me the horizon, i killed the prom queen, normajean and a lot lot more... check for Rise Records for they are one of the best label ou there in the market ! Remember guys ! Your getting old , and we have to find something new ! cause everything changes, people , music even drugs are changing so find something better and dont stick to old mainstream music! These bands you mention are like the " MAMA or TATAY core of what the new generation might call it nowadays! lol Sorry dont mean no descrimination man peace! why listen to this music full of carnage, blood lust and hatred IF you have the option of enjoying the same music but with much more meaningful lyrics ayt?
