well, with brett favre going to the jets, then he'll have no more excuses. he must deliver the goods or else he'll be booed off by packer fans.

 

that's why it's an unfortunate situation. it's one thing to have him line up under center and make a few throws---it's another to ask him to justify why coaching and management stood by him through all this.

 

yes, the kid should reward their faith alright but let's keep expectations in line, the most that anyone could and really should ever ask from him is a decent season. that's all.

 

and you can forget about the fans for a moment because if they struggle out of the gate, things will get pretty ugly pretty fast in that locker room.
