chukchuck44
sad to say eto yung dalawang email sa akin ng mga taga SOLAR SPORTS Good Day! Since the season started we have been showing 2 games live every week. For the playoffs we are allowed by the NFL to only show one game which we have been. I have attached here our grid for the month of January for your reference, still subject to changes. We only have 1 game per week during the playoffs, thisis an NFL directive. All the games we will show also come from the NFC only, therefore the NE game is not possible. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
stormgray
Pareng chukchuck, yeah that's what I got too. Wow. I emailed again, as follows: "Wow, really? I guess we can't do anything but share our thoughts. During the regular season, you showed a maximum of 3 games per week (sometimes 4 even), so I can't understand the logic behind showing 1 game a week during the playoffs. Perhaps the management of Solar Sports can rethink this strategy. At least, if you can't alter your schedule during the divisional playoffs, perhaps you'd like to rethink this during the conference finals, where you might want to show BOTH the AFC and NFC finals? "Sorry to say this, but this is really a bummer. "Thanks for listening." I'm keeping my fingers crossed. You know, the Pats-Colts game during the regular season wasn't on their pre-made schedule, but they showed it anyway. I guess we should count our blessings in that they'll be showing the Super Bowl. I just hope it won't be cancelled for some reason. Anyone out there who knows a public live streaming website of NFL games? Quote Link to comment
denimhead
man .. the NFL sure is strict on broadcast rights ... even here they had some drama about the PATS .. the Pats Giants game was only supposed to be shown on the NFL channel .. nobody else even local networks for both teams can show it .. until lawmakers threatened NFL with a suit did they relent and let the show be broadcasted on NBC and CBS.... my picks ... giants vs cowboys .. i was gonna go with the 'boys .. but all these brouhaha on Romo in Cabo and TO being unsure to play .. ill go with the inconsistent G-men Pack vs Hawks ... homefield in the freezing tundra should be good enough for brett favre and the pack to win against the green bay wannabees of seattle Pats vs J'ville ... im hoping that Jville at least cover the spread if they do lose, but im pulling for them as they do matchup well against the PATS, very good running game, a good td-int ratio qb, 4 very good corners and a strong d line Ind vs SD ....no antonio gates is trouble for SD, but no dwight freeney is also trouble for IND, im going with another upset SD over Ind.... stormgray
Or baka naman meron sa inyong may extra $30.00 para maka subscribe ako sa NFL Weekly pass? Quote Link to comment
stormgray
I'm hoping some unheard of Taiwanese or Chinese channel on the deep end of Destiny's lineup will be showing the games. During the MLB season, there was one Taiwanese channel (Formosa TV) that showed ALL of the Yankees games live (yuck!) because of Chien-Mien Wang. Syempre I didn't miss any of the games when the Skankees played the Red Sox. What was amazing about Formosa TV was that they showed ALL of the AL playoff games live! So hopefully there's one disregarded channel that'll show the NFL playoff games. Quote Link to comment

cheeselogger
giving credit still to a perfect regular season, I'm wondering why they still gave the COY to Bill? wasn't he fined also this year for the spygate? nice message they are sending out to the young kids: It doesn't matter how you cross the finish line as long as you cross it. cheeselogger
^then that means media really miss the bigger picture nowadays. how sad it really is when money/records are more important than values that sports were originally intended to give... does NFL itself give out it's own award for coaches?
