gift_of_game
sean peyton messed up his game planning .. he shouldve let deuce run more instead of going crazy with Bush... i still think the Colts D wouldve broken down if they got pounded by a big power back .. then put in stecker as a change of pace back .. then let bush go wild with screen passes and lining up as a wr. Probably...But I guess NO went with what was there (or what they thought was there) and tried rolling with it. The carries were divided evenly enough but it seemed like neither back could do any damage against the Colts---which looked much better than expected. It wasn't the Bears or Ravens by any stretch of imagination but they sure did enough to also render the Saints' top-notch WR corps as nonfactors. Quote Link to comment
denimhead
well.. with hindsight being 20/20.. its easy to say what they should have done.... indy it turns out has an easy first quarter sched ... they meet denver on week four.... then a hard second half .. with the Pats on week 9, Chargers on week 10, Kansas City on week 11,and the Ravens on week 14 .. so 11-5 (maybe even better) is a very possible record for this team .. and maybe splitting the season series with jacksonville .. their conference rivals Quote Link to comment

gift_of_game
yup .... whoa somebody picked my team to lose... man having two home teams must be good ... who'll you pick when they face each other? I was honestly kidding on that one bro! Philly will probably win that game. I think McNabb's gonna have a huge game (400 yds, 2-3 TD). And between the `Skins and Ravens, I'm going with the latter. cheeselogger
my picks: Sunday, September 9 Denver at Buffalo - Denver Pittsburgh at Cleveland - Pittsburgh Philadelphia at Green Bay - Green Bay (still a Packer fan and hoping for a great season) Kansas City at Houston - Houston Tennessee at Jacksonville - Jacksonville Atlanta at Minnesota - Minnesota New England at NY Jets - New England Carolina at St. Louis - St Louis Miami at Washington - Miami Detroit at Oakland - Detroit Chicago at San Diego - Chicago Tampa Bay at Seattle - Seattle NY Giants at Dallas - NY Giants Monday, September 10 Baltimore at Cincinnati - Baltimore Arizona at San Francisco - Arizona btw, this season got me too excited for football I'm playing my Madden '07 and the Colts D is one scary lineup when at home. I'm averaging around 6-10 sacks per game! hehehe now, if only they'd be that good in reality... Quote Link to comment
denimhead
ravens are way good this year ... the redskins should improve from last year .. the Offensive Coordinator is supposed to be a genius .. its just that their offense is way too complicated ... ill look for them to go big next year Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
ravens are way good this year ... the redskins should improve from last year .. the Offensive Coordinator is supposed to be a genius .. its just that their offense is way too complicated ... ill look for them to go big next year From recent reports, this will be Gibbs' last year as head coach. I'm not too sure if it's gonna be a step forward or back for the program if and when that happens. I'm actually looking for a good year out of Campbell, a B+ year from the backs and maybe a breakout year from one of the wideouts not named Moss. The Ravens, on the other hand, have got to win now as the window of opportunity (aging QB, aging DEF) is closing. They're a lock to make it to the playoffs but how far they go would depend largely on how many points they can squeeze out of that offense. Lastly, here's just one reason why the NFL is the undisputed king of the big three sports: they have the BEST CHEERLEADERS! Edited September 9, 2007 by gift_of_game Quote Link to comment

gift_of_game
USC cheerers are hotter  Younger maybe but not necessarily hotter. Strictly speaking, it's a matter of preference. Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
wala bang cheerleaders sa NHL? we have a thread for this ha? puro pats girls ang nandon The NFL doesn't count as a big 3 sport. Heck, after their lockout season, it's barely even a major league sport. Quote Link to comment
