I have been craving all day... been really hungry... thoughts of all the yummy delicacies i've tried makes me hungrier.

 

some of the exotic dishes i have tried:

 

1. camaro - parang maggots na ginisa sa bawang, parang crunchy adobo flakes, tried it in a kapampangan friend's house

 

2. fried bayawak - sa isang bundok sa may cavite during a camp

 

3. fried sawa - sa balaw-balaw in angono

 

4. sinabawang balut - its like balut cooked in bulalo soup sa balaw-balaw din

 

5. baby bees - sa mt province, a local served us this adobo-smelling, and adobo looking feast... a minute after eating, our teeth were filled with waxy substance and that's when we were told we just ingested baby bees.

Sa Fear Factor ata pinaka-exotic foods na nakita ko.

May part na BALUT was one of them.

 

Here in Taiwan, they have a lot pero not yet bold to try them.

One food at a time.....

 

Stinking dofu (tokwa) - it really stinks, smells like "mens' restroom" (others will say much much worse), u can smell it miles away, masarap pero bad breath ka

Frog Legs - here and in manila (Crocodile), not really exotic pero kakaiba di ba? tastes like chicken

hmm, i tried na ung camaro, pero bata pa ko nun,when i tried para akong kumakain ng insect..

hmp, yun pa lang yata natitikman ko na exotic..

i saw that AXN ep, they found it really gross... found them funny feeling so.

 

FROG LEGS are gooood! yummy like chicken.

 

when i was in macau, my chinese boss almost conned me to try rabbit, i can't imagine eating Bugs Bunny. i refused.

maraming masarap, most of the stuff i tried tasted like chicken.. makes me wonder, really.

That resto in Angono specializes in exotic fods.

I went there once pero I didn't get the names of the food served.

I wasn't aware that time, bata pa ata ako eh.

 

Balaw-balaw ata yung name.

camaro dipped in suka with lots of sili,,,mmmm good eats

 

bayawak with mang tomas sarsa...da best

 

froglegs with sweet chili sauce..taste like chicken

 

so far this is all i could remember..

nung umuwi kmi ng quezon prov. when i was just 10 y/o, me ipinakain

sila s kn, chicken adobo daw.

no doubt ako kc it really tasted chicken.

i've learned later it waas bayawak pla.
