Alsev
@larrygota agree on you abt the brandon fight I saw him winning it although the most impt is the last round. It leaves a mark on the judges scorecards. BTW did you know he broke his hand in the 1st round so that had a big effect on his fighting style in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. He'll be back. archiexarchie
vera's knee to the temple of silvia rocked the gigantor... hehe... sayang, if tim's knee was already out of the mat before vera's knee landed on his head it could be the start of the end for tim. Quote Link to comment
Insaniac
sayang nga at natalo si vera. muntik na bumagsak sa end ng round 2 si sylvia dahil sa sunod sunod at lakas ng sipa ni brandon. Bumawi ka bata! proud to be pinoy! war vera! Quote Link to comment

fatso8
dapat bumaba muna sa 185 si Hendo, wala ng kalaban ang Gagamba! Quote Link to comment
Larry
@ Larrycan't blame Starnes for that outburst. his corner actually thought he gave a verbal tapout, but his corner didn't see the Marvin Eastman-esque cut on Kalib's forehead. that was nasty. IMO it was a semi verbal tapout. If you really want to continue fighting and the doc asks you if you can see, you answer "Yes" even if it's blurry, you don't say "no, I can't see, but I want to fight" that's just asking for the doc to stop the fight, without you actually saying it. There have been worse and far bloodier cuts that have been allowed to continue. Kalib has had a history of quitting, but it was really a$$holic for his corner to say "He f*cking quit again" on PPV, those things you just discuss in the locker room. Probably Kang or Lawler They should really get Kang in the UFC BTW did you know he broke his hand in the 1st round so that had a big effect on his fighting style in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. yeah he did, but it was really weird that he didn't follow Master Lloyd's instructions. It was funny that when Master Lloyd was telling him to move to his right to avoid the big right hand, and start throwing leg kicks Brandon was all "ok yeah" and nodding, but as soon as the round started he clinches and takes Tim to the fence. Brandon knew that he didn't follow the game plan, he even apologized for it at the end. It was just odd to see him not even try out that strategy when it was working beautifully at the end of the 2nd. Quote Link to comment
wEbStAr
I agree with you sir Larry. Though he even manages to smile and keep his cool. Brandon wasn't following their game plan. I clearly heard Master Lloyd's instructions that he should move to his right and throw some kicks in. But I do hope there will be a rematch between him and Tim. Yabang nung bondying na yun!!! He's just lucky Brandon caught him while he's other knee was still on the ground. Kung nagkataon tapos na ang boksing! Damn! Anderson really rocks! He really gets better and better with each fight. I do hope next in line for him is Okami! Quote Link to comment

rudepnoy4
No Kalib explained everything he thought his corner is getting mad at him cause they were looking at him while yelling "what the hell are you doing" so kalib yelled back at them. but his corner were yelling at the doctor not at kalib, so it was a misunderstanding Quote Link to comment
pr0nmast3r
I want them to feed Brock to the dogs! Hehe I'd rather have him face Jeff Monson. Imes was the runner up to Evans correct? Quote Link to comment
MRyoso
that was just his first lost in the ufc and all you fools are frustrated give homeboy a break he just fought with a broken hand and ring rustand the lady begins the name callings silva is still a striker, but now, he's a much better striker. he's extrememly confident. he knows no one can take the belt from him this time. filho will be a great matchup. but will he go to ufc? as for lawler, he's definitely explosive, but ill still give the edge to silva i feel sorry for franklin. takot na takot lalo an yung nasasaktan. nakakawa yung expression ng mata niya. Liddell (20-5), considered by many to be the greatest light heavyweight fighter of all time, reigned as the 205-pound UFC champion for over three years. He knocked out seven opponents in seven consecutive fights, including Randy Couture (twice), Vernon White, Jeremy Horn, Renato “Babalu” Sobral and Tito Ortiz (twice), before he was defeated by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at UFC 71 in May. Chuck now returns to the Octagon to face the fighter he has wanted to fight for years – Wanderlei Silva. “I’m excited this fight with Wanderlei is finally happening,” said Liddell. “I’ve been saying for a long time that, given the chance, I would knock Wanderlei Silva out. I think this will be a great fight for the fans, and one that lives up to their expectations, because I’m going to hit him until he falls down and stays down.” The 31-year old Silva (31-7-1), known by fight fans as “The Axe Murderer” for his ultra-aggressive style and finishing ability, began his career almost 11 years ago in his native Brazil, fighting in Vale Tudo bouts that pushed him to the limit as he honed the skills that would soon make him one of the most feared fighters on the planet. He met great success by winning the PRIDE organization’s middleweight championship and defeating the likes of current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton Jackson (twice), Dan Henderson, Kazushi Sakuraba (three times), Ricardo Arona, Hidehiko Yoshida, and Kazuyuki Fujita, while engaging in some of the most memorable fights in MMA history. Well-rested after his February PRIDE fight against Dan Henderson, Silva is ready to take on Liddell and secure the most important victory of his mixed martial arts career. “I’ve wanted to fight Chuck for a long time,” said Silva. “I think about this fight a lot, our styles are very similar – we are both great strikers. I’m training very hard, because I want to give my next victory to my fans. After I beat Chuck, then I want to fight the champion.” In addition to Liddell vs. Silva, UFC 79 features the main event welterweight championship matchup between UFC champion Matt Serra (16-4) and former UFC champion Matt Hughes (43-5). Current UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra, fresh off his knockout victory over Georges St-Pierre in April, looks to defend his title for the first time against the legendary Hughes and secure his own legacy in the UFC 170-pound division. Hughes, a two-time UFC champion with seven combined title defenses to his name, has a deadly ground game that has earned him wins over St-Pierre, BJ Penn, Chris Lytle, Royce Gracie, and Frank Trigg (twice).
