bustero Posted January 1, 2004 Share Posted January 1, 2004 You've got to figure out whether the stress is short term or long term. If it's short term like a project or job related that can't be worked out then a number of things like: stepping out of the situation for a quick break : breathing, reflection, strectching, vice breaks (food, smoking etc ) though not great in the long term , will help. If it's over a period of time then a short vacation or another activity like hobbies or sports( should be enjoyable enough to take your mind of the source of stress but not be so competitive it bcomes the source of stress. Of course if it's long term stress you must take alook at your life to fix the fundamental source of stress, assuming you can do something about it. If you can't then regular thinks like your libangans, massages, friends and socialization and of course SEX a good ways to address stress. Quote Link to comment

shrike Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 (edited) stressed out? i want to work more.. or reador have coffeeor smoke (pero i promised a FRIEND i'd stop smoking kaya wala na ito)i think coffee's got to be moderated too !i'll tell your FRIEND to tell you this. got stressed out lately. for 3 str8 days. it was fun. watched DVD, VCD non-stop.played PS2/ xbox while watchin movies.cranked out the volume on my hi-fi and strapped the headfon while watchin movies and playin games. try it. it's fun. on new years countdown while being stressed played as bartend and sound mixer for my visiting friends. all this while either watchin movies or playin games. i can't smoke. i can't drink. i can't use my blackbook. not this time.overload my senses so that i can tell myself i feel nothing. it worked !
