If all we foolish family devotees to this higher cause can set alight is but one small town, one tiny corner, then let that be the one lit corner that will sooner or later set afire the page entire, catching flame at the speed of communication, if not of thought itself. And if the paper remains still too sodden and we should fail, then at least we have dried-out that corner sufficiently, for others to set alit anew. I pity those who were given naught but tabula rosa by their plain parents, who know not who they are, where they come from, and what they must do in these few good years given us, in these evil times. All their parents ever taught them was to go forth and make their living and take piano lessons and maybe do the karaoke too; such baby stuff as even the humblest pinay hooker with her coloured pokpok contact lenses can do, and with much more fun besides.
