Nope, as far as i can feel , we are all connected as one, not from a source but as part of the source. the specific or special connection to a certain person or in some cases a number of souls is nothing but the influence of our physical environment to our mind, body and spirit where we incur preferences, interest and vigor. my view on this theory is that man is naturally anxious about life that he/she needs a partner who empowers him/her, same with being subjugated by a leader or worshipping a Deity.
