Senator Panfilo Lacson on Tuesday, August 30, criticized the P80-million allotment for each lawmaker for proposed projects in the 2017 national budget, calling it an apparent pork barrel.

"Parang bumabalik tayo sa PDAF (Priority Development Assistance Fund). Bakit mag-a-identify ng project ang mga congressmen? Sila rin mangangasiwa noon, sila nakakaalam saan i-a-allocate ang pondo, kung saans project," Lacson told reporters at the sidelines of the first budget briefing of the Development Budget Coordination Committee before the Senate.

Im sorry but I beg to disagree. Kung talagang takot lang si duterte macoup, di dapat bawas bawasan nya na lang pagiging masyado nyang agresibo. Sana di nya na lang pinapangalanan mga heneral, mayor, etc. He can play it safe if he wants to. But like he said, he is gonna risk his life, his honor, and his presidency. He knows someone really needs to be aggressive and shake up the system to rattle all the rats hiding. So Far evaluating the hits and miss, it is working.

 

Tandaan natin si GMA sumipsip yan ng husto sa AFP. Higop pa nga ginawa eh. Napakalaki ng budget ng AFP nung time nya, pero hindi sya gumawa ng ganito. At most lang boodlefight kasama ng mga sundalo, konting picture picture, yun na. At isa pa, ang totoong nakinabang sa pangsisipsip nya ay yun mga heneral.

Kahit pa tumahimik si Digong at si Sal Panelo at Martin Andanar na lang humarap sa media, yung policies pa rin nya sa war on drugs at NPA peace talks ang dahilan bakit kailangan todo kabig sya sa pulis at militar. Di ko sinasabi na talagang walang sincerity si Digong pagdating dito - kahit sinong Pilipino sasang-ayon na dapat talagang tulungan at bigyang pugay ang mga pulis at sundalo natin sa serbisyo nila sa bayan - pero it's also hard not to see kung gaano ka-all out publicity na sinusuportahan at tinutulungan nya ang mga ito.

If I am not mistaken, the last year when the licenses and stickers were released on the same day of registration or renewal was in 2014. I got my license on the same day that I renewed my license.

During GMA's time I got my Driver's License ID within the hour when I renewed it.

I got my car registration renewal with stickers in 1-3 days.

I got my passport delivered to my house in 2 days after renewing it at DFA.

This news article, buried in the more pressing headline of the Davao bomb blast, is revealing of the strategies, the Duterte DDS (DeLima Demolition Squad) is resorting to, to muzzle his detractors. We should all take heed.

 

Points from the article:

 

1. Supposed witness ex-De Lima aide Edna "Bogs" Obuyes denies allegations as presented by DOJ Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre. Bank account, bank deposits and allegations of drug money or protection payola all denied. Pwedeng sabihin ng Duterte mob, it happens. Totoo naman.

 

2. Bank deposit slips, all 19 BDO slips were fabricated, an admission by the DOJ Sec himself. Katawa tawa nito, yung klase ng investigation na ginawa ng DOJ. Anu ba naman na i-verify nila muna, mahirap ba yon? Masyadong atat kasi, it's either the DOJ itself fabricated the deposit slips or they were such lazy dumb-asses. Magkano ba sweldo ng mga tiga-DOJ, sila ata dapat ang nasa firing end ng EJK eh, sayang pera ng bayan sa kanila. This. Should. Not. Have. Happened.

 

3. Despite the big setback damaging the credibility of the DOJ investigation on De Lima, Aguirre maintained they can get evidence that "billions" of irregular transactions were made by the embattled Senator De Lima. Asked how he knew of the hefty amount, he said: "Trust me" Anakngdambuhalang kuryente, trust me daw?

baka naman kasi walang tanim bala talaga... my wife is a PAO who was tasked to respond to tanim bala incidents... i used to join her kasi minsan madaling araw siya kung ipatawag.. i even remember that one time, kasagsagan ng APEC, i had to drive my wife to the airport for that.

 

mind you.....99% of the nahuli nag-admit na dala nila ang bala... usually anting-anting.... some of them do not even know na may bala pala sa loob ng anting-anting na dala nila (kadalasan ay nasa loob ng isang tinahing red pouch na may kasaman cruz at mga tuyong dahon).

Photo op or not, such gesture is not meant for the viewing public. It is to console for those who are in grief. Barking/praising behind computer will not do any good. Let us do our part and not be divided in times when our own countrymen are suffering. Most importantly, let us be vigilant so as not to have another casualty.
