He was suggesting something which he probably heard from the medical experts he talked to regarding the covid. In chemotherapy, don't you put chemicals in the body too?

Doxycycline, Amoxicilin and Azithromycin are chemicals. They k*ll bacteria. We call them antibiotics.

 

Sodium Hypochlorite, Isopropyl Alcohol, Benzalkonium Chloride, are chemicals, too. They k*ll bacteria, too. We call them disinfectants.

 

Antibiotics are drugs with specifically-designed molecules to target and bind to specific microorganisms to destroy it while leaving the body's living cells relatively unharmed. Cancer chemotherapy follows the same principle.

 

Disinfectants are chemicals designed k*ll microorganisms on inert surfaces. They are not to be ingested because they are toxic to almost all living microorganisms, including our own body cells.

Kasi, nung ginawa ang budget noong 2019, wala tayong ka-alam-alam no magkakaroon ng covid.

 

May budget tayo sa pagsasaayos ng pinsala ng bagyo, baha, lindol, o pagputok ng bulkan.

 

Para sa epidemic tulad ng Dengue,meron din.

 

Pero sa Pandemic na tulad nito na talagang titigil ang ekonomiya natin, kahit sinong bansa, walang budget.

 

Anong gagawin ngayon? Yung budget para sa pagpapagawa ng kalsada, tulay, irrigation, airport, etc... ipagpapaliban muna at gagamitin sa pagtulong sa mga nawalan ng trabaho, pagbili ng mga relief goods na ipamimigay sa mahihirap, at para sa pagpapagamot sa mga nahawa sa Covid-19.

Meron tayong emergency fund para sa Typhoon, Earthquake, Flooding, Fire, even Dengue -- enacted by Congress in 2019.

 

But our laws does not allow the government to divert the emergency funds specifically intended for the above calamities to other purposes like fighting the covid-19 pandemic.

 

That's why Congress had to hurriedly enact a new law, the Bayanihan Heal as One Act to authorize the government to reallocate the budget for fighting the pandemic.

I am not political but these days the impact of politics is graver as it can literally mean life and death for millions. Every world leader or community leader is affected by the pandemic and this will separate the men from the boys.

 

Let us see what has been done right in the Philippines

1) declaring the lockdown early

2) having the political will to continue the lockdown knowing that the country doesn’t have the resources to battle covid if it spreads uncontrollably

 

Things that were done wrong.

1) corruption - i would bet my balls many got rich. corruption is inherent but maybe at this time moderating it for the people is needed

2) weak cabinet - i look at the people in cabinet and how many can we say are really Good? A world call? The best and the brightest? Even if we assume the president is brilliant as many of people believing in him claims, still he needs a good bench to win.

3) double standard - every press briefing the president curses at violators and NPAs. I agree with his anger towards them. However, where is his anger when his people violates the very rules he has imposed. The police general party, the kokovid, the mocha... the list goes on. If others violated the law death to them but if his people violate the law compassion please. We lead by example not by fear.

4) the masa also appears to have deserted him. His support comes from this block yet it is this block who is mostly violating the quarantine. Maybe out of necessity which I agree but they could have practiced a little caution in public as well.

5) refusal to listen. We have the freedom to speak and think. However anybody who disagrees with his rules are considered traitors or dilawan or communists. Nag agreeing on a couple of things doesn’t mean being against on all things. The government is not God and like all mortals is capable of making mistakes which people should point out and they should learn from.

we have to admit and govt as well that we cannot sustain our economy if we continue the ecq policy,,, if people will not die of covid,,, they will die of hunger,,, so how to do?? just wearing the right mask ,, and alcohol,,, and ok rin yung temp reading,,, enough to keep our daily work going,,, just my thoughts or our economy will die,,,,

kung wala na pera gobyerno, kailangan na ng buwis ng mga tao, kaya balik trabaho muna at pati buhay i buwis muna para kumita ng kahit papano above minimum pero di pa din sasapat na pambayad sa hospital pag nag kasakit...
