Let's look at the entire report:

In a speech before barangay leaders in Pasay City, Duterte said the recovery of cocaine bricks in the country's waters point to the entry of the Medellin group of Colombia in the Philippines.

"We are facing a serious problem. Pumasok na ang cartel Medellin [ng] Colombia kaya nga maraming nakikitang cocaine," Duterte said.

Duterte said illegal drugs were being produced in old trawlers, then attached to GPS devices before being thrown into the sea.

The illegal packages would then be traced and retrieved by drug traffickers.

He said it would be very challenging to guard the country's entire shoreline to prevent the entry of illegal drugs.

"We are in danger dahil on the right side, ang Mexico, ang Medellin, Colombia, pumapasok. Dito kung makikita mo lumulutang shabu, cocaine. At mahirap ang Pilipinas dahil pinakamahabang shoreline," Duterte said.

"Kulang tayo. So I cannot afford na may isang patrol dito, island per island, ganun kahirap," he added.

Those who heard his speech in full definitely understood his message in the proper context.

People know very well that Tagalog is not Duterte's native dialect.

Paid trolls will not understand.

They're too busy looking for the negative spin.

Also I think this is the reason why Japan has low drug problems which differs on our mentality here.

^^^ Walang Duterte translation sa post ko. I posted a newspaper report verbatim and put some statement on bold to emphasize the point. Italicized din para ma differentiate from my own comments.

 

Alam namin di sya magaling mag-Tagalog.

 

Ok lang sa min. Puede kaming mag-adjust.

 

Kaya kami, ini-intindi namin ang sinasabi nya.

 

At naiintindihan namin.

 

Ikaw, kaya di mo maintindihan, ayaw mong umintindi.

So lahat na lang ng sabihin niya kelangan ng translation? Eh mabuti pang mag Davaoeno na lang siya o kung ano man ang wika na kung saan siya komportable at mag rely na lang sya sa professional translator.

 

Eh kung ako nga magkamali lang sa spelling kina kantyawan mo na agad. Siya pa?! Double standard translator?

 

Pero palagay ko kahit anong lenguahe pa gamitin niyan, lalabas pa din na incoherent siya at kayo pa lang din ang tanging makakaintindi sa kanya. LOL.

^HIs humor is really not for general public and I would rather a spokesperson always answer for him, but if you can't take that then rant for the next 3 years. For me if that is his biggest flaw then I'm happy with it rather than an inept president or a corrupt one.
