Nope this is the first time the Canadian PM was invited. But it's a stretch to assume that he's here because he has admiration for PDuts. Most likely he attended because there are opportunities he sees in dealing with ASEAN as a whole, not just PH. It just so happens we're the current host country.

Speaking of this asean summit masyadong allergic si duterte na mapagusapan o mananggit ang human rights violation laban contrA droga. Halos lahat ng leaders napunta dito walang nabanggit tungkol sa issue na yan maliban sa isa. Yun ang #respect

Eto ang problema hindi mo kasi inintindi ang sinasabi nun tao kung ano ba talaga posisyon niya at banat agad. I wonder as well if you have a full grasp of what hazing is as defined by law. Para sa iyo mukhang sarado sa isip mo na kapag sinabing hazing katumbas nito ay physical violence agad like beating and paddling.

 

Ikaw na din nagsabi na mahirap na mawala ang hazing at sa tingin ko ayaw mo ng may namamatay dahil sa hazing. So maybe then next best alternative kung hindi talaga mawawala ang hazing ay to support non violent form of hazing like yun ginawa ni RJ na pinakanta niya o ilagay sa isang " shameful position" yun neophyte. Pag pinakanta mo ba sa stage o pinasuot ng malalaking ribbon ikamamatay yan ng tao dahil iba-iba tolerance level nila sa kahihiyan? Baka naman literal ang pagkaintindi mo sa kasabihang "mamatay sa kahihiyan"? Lol

Pasensiya na at di ko sasakyan takbo ng utak mo. The fact of the matter is your question is irrelevant. RJ's perspective is that he believe we should all be behind non violent hazing in order not to lose lives in the future.... Therefore, does it matter what the current % of non physical hazing is? Eh ano kung siya lang ang kaisa-isang nagpatupad ng non- violent form of hazing up to this day? Kung mataas ang percentage eh di good, if mababa then yan ang challenge na dapat pagtuunan ng ating mambabatas sa pinaplanong pagamend ng anti hazing law.

Perspectives change based on changing situations.

 

For example, I was posting against Duterte in this forum during the election period because i believe Binay would have made a better president. And I still do.

 

But when Duterte won, I was thankful that it was not anybody from Abnoy's inept government.

 

So now, I am in favor the Du30 administration, because like the FVR and GMA administrations, this current admin can get things done. Total opposite of the hypocritical and inept Cory and Abnoy governments.
