RƐX
Most weight-loss motivational speaker say, weight loss is achieved in 10% workout and 90% in the kitchen. Less [deep] fried food, chips, soda, and sweets. More fiber in my diet, vegetables, fruits and massive amount of determination! Personally I started gradually replacing white rice with red rice. You have to figure out first your maintaining calorie level for 1 day then just manage your meals to have calories lower than the maintenance calorie Quote Link to comment

bigsam
Don't attempt to turn your life around on a 360 degrees level. Just continue what you normally eat and lessen the amount consumed. Then, move on to slowly eliminating unhealthy food in your diet. if you turn 360deg, you would be facing the same way but so true.. don't expect quick results when it comes to diet and exercise.
