Qualifications:

*Graduate of BS Materials Science, ECE, or EE.

*Familiar with wirebond, mold, leadframe and laminate based plastic packaging and its issues.

*Knowledgeable in automotive AEC-Q-100 and Pb Free requirements.

*Competent in FMEA, 8D, SPC, and DOE.

*Able to work cross-functional teams.

*Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

 

Brief Job Description:

The Senior Assembly Engineer is responsible for package characterization and subcon qualifications activities which include transfer of products from one Assembly site to another and supports in the development of advance packages and process enhancements such as wirebond improvements, process flow optimization, and materials rationalization. He/She will also work closely with quality and resident engineering groups in the resolution of assembly related customer returns, with cross functional teams on failure analysis and root cause identification, and with other groups manufacturing groups in the testing of assembly/evaluation of lots.
