Flash_Brown
OK lng kahit 25% ang savings rate mo, ang laki na nmn ng networth mo. Ako ang target ko 5 years from now, i'll stop savings for my retirement and my wife. No more 50% or more savings rate for retirement. Whatever income we get we plan to spend them for a certain experience and punuan trust fund ng anak namin. I also plan to give the inheritance to our daugther earlier not when we die but give it to her spread across period starting when is 25 years old till she reaches 35 (e.g. deposit for a house, capital for her business if ever, wedding, etc). Our retirement money naming mag asawa will be just for us alone and we will spend them all hopefully close to zero by the time we both die. 5 years from now i'll be 45 and my wife will be 44. Hopefully we're still at the peek of our health so we can get to enjoy our money to focus more on experience that bring us joy e.g. travel, music, charity, etc. I just finish the book Die with Zero by Bill Perkins and if you read this book you'll understand more about my approach. https://www.diewithzerobook.com/ This seems a real great plan...... kudos sir!! MartinDomingo
QUESTION TO EVERYONE is 10,000 a day salary okay? tatanggapin ko ba? 10k a day times 30 days 300k a month? ok ba yun para sa pamilyadong maraming bisyo 1 Quote Link to comment
kengamboa
Depende sa bisyo mo and how big is your family if pa spa spa lang bisyo mo and isang anak kasya na yan. Sample breakdown lang Wife = 500k/ yearPer kid = 550k /year (tuition, baon luho)Household expense = 600k/yearHoliday travel = 100-200k p#ta on the side = depends if escort around 30-50k a month may condo ako so tipid na minsan sa hotel billsMisc - 200k / year (home expense hospital bills The rest will go to passive income investment. MartinDomingo
300k a month is 3.6 M a year less sa mga sinabi mo 2.1M ang magagastos ano yantipid mode naba yan or magarbo na? Quote Link to comment
kengamboa
If your in your 20's palang good na yan and if pepe lang luho mo as you get older kasi dumadami din hobbies/expenses mo. use the excess for passive income investment like properties, bonds, side businesses and never touch your passive income if anu kinita mo sa passive income mo invest in back into that to grow or expand. 8-10 years from now your passive income might be at par na with your regular income. You never know baka pag 40's 50's ka na you can support 2 family's na haha.. I have this barkada who works in a justice system. Have a legal mistress because he can take care of his family and the mistress at the same time all the luho kaya nya ibigay. 1 Quote Link to comment
MRROUGHSEX
Konting hinay lang sa mga bebot posts mga parekoy. Meron tayong binibini OP dito. Hi neville! With regards to Don MD inquiry, I think humblebragging lang yang question mo Joke lang. Sobra sobra na yan Don MD sa Pinas or 2nd World countries. Sa First World, tama lang. In US, Pnp3M average salary per year so you are in 60% here with P3.6M. Congrats! Patsibog ka naman pre! Saan ba yan? 1 Quote Link to comment
MRROUGHSEX
That is quite a fast estimate of years Don K. For me, I'm estimating 18 years. I still have 5 years to go. 8-10 years from now your passive income might be at par na with your regular income. Quote Link to comment
kengamboa
Actually you need to earn a lot more here in ph to live more comfortably. For one no good health care system here. Mr. Really depends on where or when did you invest just an example a not so old 8 story building in legaspi area cost 180M in 2008 plus 20 for renovation.
