I decided to go last night to Okada. My first. I will try the Poker at Solaire at a later date.

 

Played the slot machines. Played from 7pm to around 11pm. Would have stayed longer. Nananalo kasi. Mukhang mananalo pa sana. Kaya lang, the wife was waiting at home.

 

I seem to like the layout of the playing hall of Solare better.

 

The driveway fronting the entrance of Solaire is much bigger, more spacious. Traffic is hardly stalled when cars stopped at the entrance for passengers either to get off or get on their cars.

 

Service at Solaire seems to be better. Players are pampered with offers of drinks. I noticed at Okada, unless you asked, by and large, you don't get served with drinks.

Sayang nga ang points ko. I was not able to register myself in their rewards program dahil ang haba ng pila. So, I didn't get the umbrella and the Valentine's chocolate freebie.

Yep, It's good. Price is a bit high a bowl of rice (gohan) would cost you Php450. You are better off ordering their set menu that cost around Php3,000 compared to ala carte.

 

Boss Retz, 450 was a long time ago ah. I think its around P100 for a bowl of gohan

I had a look of the game the other night. But, I couldn't stay too long. Tinatanong ko yung dealer about the game. Still couldn't get a full grasp of the betting system. That's the joy of texas hold em. I used to play it in FB. Pwede ka mang bluff, raise, fold. Marami kang options. If you're to play against the banker, all the odds are against you. Laging lamang ang bangka.

Siguro, habang I'm trying to get the hang of it, doon muna ako sa medyo mababa ang taya. May sinabii yung isang dealer na merong table doon na 25-50. Parang pagka-intindi ko minimum bets yung Php 25 at Php 50. Yung initial ay Php 25. Tapos, pag nagbukas na ng tatlong cards, initial bet na naman ay Php 50. Ewan ko kung tama ang pagka-intindi ko. Pero dito rin, sabi mo nga open-ended rin ang betting. Pero baka dito ang naglalaro ay hindi masyado malalaki kung tumataya dahil ang minimum bets ay maliit.

I'm still hooked to casino gambling but, I'm past the "financially draining" stage.

 

I have been going to casinos since 2007.

 

There was a time that I would be going almost 3x a week.

 

There was a time I would allow myself to lose 100K in a night.

 

I'm past that stage now.

 

I only go to casinos at most, 2-3x a month now.

 

I would only allow myself to lose 20-40K everytime I play now.

 

For this year, I would say, thus far, mas marami pa ang panalo ko kaysa talo. Basta disiplina lang sa self-control.....

I appreciate your honesty jimmy77 I am kinda sure now that you know after all those experieces in the past,that were a past of so much stress,anxieties and losing so much money because of this sickening cycle called the evil of gambling ,the winnings you have now is just temporary though you said you are ahead now am pretty sure the evil of gambling will get back at you again to get your small winnings back and much much more. It is like a quicksand that will suck you all at the end. Forget about the past losses and lies that you can beat the casinos. Just giving my sincere advice but a of course it is all up to you. If you can stay away from the casino the best a not the way to enjoy and get rich napakasama talaga lakas ng devil temptation sa casino.
