And the authors actually says to stop using it already and move to things like Bitlocker. Chances are the encryption has already been cracked by sophisticated organizations (like the USA's NSA), but it is still "safe" (not a malware) to use.

User of truecrypt also. Mahirap yung mga online storage. Make sure you properly encrypt your files before uploading. Lalo na yung sensitive.

From a non-hacker, pretty much, unless your password is easy to guess.

you can either use an external drive or a flash drive, but make sure everything is encrypted.

or you can use a cloud, but also encrypted.

 

for corporate data, nothing beats hot site + local media backup.

saw a post few threads back by yea, if you really want to keep it safe and secret but backed up

 

-create a encrypted container

that container will be encrypted with lets say aes

-create another container within that one you just created

this container will be encrypted with say aes-twofish or seperant-twofish (which ever)

-place in a redudent area (redudent drive, cloud etc)

I use 7Zip to encrypt files hehe kaso hassle kasi kelangan mo pa iunzip every now and then

i backup my files with Syncbank (free), the backup file is a single encrypted file

 

when I re-run the backup software, only files that were changed/deleted will be affected

 

i even use for my pictures
