Duel of Fate
Been a Blue Eagle fan for over 10years. Panahon pa ni Chia at Villanueva. Sadly, they should be thankful if they make it sa final four this year. Im partially blaming it on Kiefer Ravena. Im a fan of the phenom, but his Kobe-like superstardom caused the team to neglect scouting and continuous building. Di gaya ng Beda, even when Baser Amer led them they never stopped looking for strong cadets. The Archers can win it this year. They have a lineup that can even surpass Mighty Pilipinas. stickshift
Check out the current Lyceum pirates of the NCAA. They are 16-0 right now and the #1 and #2 in the MVP race, #1 in rookie of the year are in the team. Team will still be intact next year as the 2 graduating players are role players. The core will still be the same next season. They are scary good! Quote Link to comment
mitochondrion
^ former ateneo recruit cj perez and the marcelino twins are killing it in the ncaa. i'd be surprised if they don't go all the way this year come to think of it, andami din nakinabang sa pitong players na pinakawalan ng ateneo 3 seasons ago 2 players napunta sa san beda, 1 naman sa lyceum, 1 sa adamson, 1 sa nu bulldogs, 1 sa feu tams. pwede na iyan makabuo ng isang team either sa uaap or sa ncaa 1 Quote Link to comment

mitochondrion
the finals-in-waiting lyceum pirates team of the ncaa goes out of their way to watch ateneo http://sports.abs-cbn.com/ncaa/news/2017/11/04/lpu-set-play-araneta-coliseum-first-time-33124 Edited November 5, 2017 by mitochondrion Quote Link to comment
jimnyboy
Ncaa - San beda - LPU is a close seconduaap - dlsu - ateneo is also a close second Quote Link to comment
jimnyboy
I haven't seen a game that was played like the one last night between FEU and ADMU in a long while. What a finish! Could have gone either way. Kudos to both teams for a well fought series! Quote Link to comment
revi
Big Ben Mbala I hope La Salle wins. But if Ateneo wins, credit should be given to Tab Baldwin. That system he is implementing is working to a tee. I don't if Ayo's Mayhem defense will work against Ateneo's fundamentally sound offense, honestly. Quote Link to comment
mitochondrion
^ iba iyong disiplina na instill ni baldwin sa ateneo. even the nasty dirty, antics of guys like melecio, ricci rivero, and tratter doesn't seem to rattle their collective composure also, isaac go's development has been phenomenal. the first time i saw him play 3 years ago, i thought he'll be one of those mediocre players ateneo usually picks up from the high school ranks, but look at him now. may potential maging gilas prospect w/ his soft feathery touch from the outside Quote Link to comment
