MJ is the greatest player of the 1990s. He couldn't possibly be the greatest of all time because if he was the greatest of all time, why did his Bulls repeatedly get destroyed by Bird's Celtics, IT's Pistons and Don Nelson's Bucks in the 1980s? When you say "greatest of all time" with emphasis on the phrase "all time", that includes the 1980s.

 

It is only MJ against 2 or 3 superstars from other teams? When he is very near in defeating the Pistons, they came out with the Jordan rule. Take him down hard, no easy baskets, make MJ bleed for his points. Every champion team should at least have a "Pippen" in his team. Shaq has his Kobe, Kobe has his Gasol. Magic has his Worthy, Bird has Mchale. Pistons has Tomas, Rodman and Dumars. Duncan has TP9 and Manu. You cant win a Championship by yourself as they say.
