Today, something made me genuinely smile.

I called DLSAU (De La Salle Araneta University) to ask if they accept SHS students from the ABM (Accountancy, Business, Management) strand for Veterinary Medicine, and they said yes, as long as my final average is 85. My Average nung 1st sem this year ay 90% with honor, so I’m qualified. And the best part? No bridging. haha so kinilig ako ng very light hihi.

I was honestly so happy, but reality hit me when I found out the tuition is around 40k. Bukod pa mga gastos nyan and I’m not sure if I can sustain it for 6 years.

I also tried Cavite State University, but they didn’t accept me since ABM isn’t aligned and they don’t offer bridging. Mahigpit talaga sa strand ang mga public univ. kasi galing din ako sa TUP para mag BS IT sana but they only offered me BS in Operation Management dahil ABM daw strand ko.

So now I’m here, excited because it’s finally possible na makapagtake ng VetMed, but also scared because it’s a big commitment.

If I don’t try, mumultuhin ako nito habangbuhay hahaha.
So I’ll take the exam in February and shoot my shot.

Whatever happens, at least I chose what my heart really wants.
