ulongilaw
I dont believe in the concept of being proud of one's ethnicity. It's like bring proud for being human. Quote Link to comment
singarage
In the wake of Sunday's shooting in Las Vegas, the "girlfriend' of the shooter is allegedly a Filipina. I have read that she was a "high roller hostess" in Vegas where she met the shooter years back.  What does "high roller hostess" do? They tend to their needs, nothing sexual but basically everything else. Drinks, food, room and restaurant reservations, even shows and concerts or clubs, etc. basically what the VIP is wants or needs they get. I had friends who were high rollers, not as much as whales but close, and their hostess would call them and ask them if they would like to come down and play at their casino. They already have either a plane ticket or private jet ready and a limo to pick them up at their house. Also depending on how big of a VIP they are, they can also bring their guest with them for free. Everything is comped. And to answer the topic at hand, my answer is no. I am proud of my accomplishments and not my ethnicity. Quote Link to comment

It's just that there are still many who still hold such profession in bad light. Quote Link to comment
