Eddy Syet
Acid test for our bigs on the Iran game going up against Haddadi and the other agile big guys that their team has. Syet, this is true. I hope those who will be tapped to play against Iran later can at least contain Haddadi. We also need to defend the three-point line well because Iran has very good shooters out there. Best of luck to our boys. I know that winning the Jones Cup title isn't the goal here but hey, we're in a good position to win it so why not get it anyway, huh? Quote Link to comment
RED2018
Wrong, PF talaga position ni Blatche kita naman sa plays niya sa Nets noon, at center nila nun si Lopez. Makakalaro pa kaya si clarkson sa jones cup? In the latest news, the Lakers organization allowed Clarkson to play in the FIBA-Asia. However, he should be reporting to his mother NBA team by Sep. 29. Thus, effectively he can only play 3 games where the FIBA-Asia starts at Sep. 23. Fair enough...nagkasabay lang talaga sked. The downside would be the Gilas system of plays would have Clarkson in the mix, and he wouldn't be around come the quarters/semis. Medyo it will stir the preparation and cohesion (somehow). Let's see how will the SBP treat this scenario... Quote Link to comment
RED2018
Some papers reported a 1:00pm tussle for Gilas vs. Iran, while the Jones Cup website indicated 3:00pm What time ba talaga game mamya? Quote Link to comment
azraelmd
If the NBA can/will release their players to play for their respective national teams....why cant the PBA? Or rather why cant SMC? Even clarkson wants to play for his country.... Quote Link to comment

RED2018
1pm tv5.. live streaming at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhF07GV8iCs note if your ISP is not from the Philippines it is blocked. Jones Cup sells the rights to broadcast per country. They required Sports5PH to geoblock live streaming for the sake of other broadcasters. Maraming Salamat! Quote Link to comment
mhar juan
Ramos, Rosario, David, and Alapag sitting out today's game versus Iran sana si Hontiveros na lang ang hindi pinaglaro at si Rosario na lang ang pinalit... lagi sablay si Dondon sa 3point shot at mas madalas ang off night nya.
