hitomi
there is a government employees group here at MTC with their own thread, you can ask there anyway, if you're skilled at politics, you'll do well. Try to take the exam at DFA. its hard but people that pass this will work in foreign service, ganda benefits. Quote Link to comment
eddiemcdowd02
My opinion lang, its hard to work in our government agencies. Workers are also affected by political erring... Quote Link to comment
ChiliMac
Ang hirap pumasok sa gobyerno kahit civil service eligible ka na kung wala ka namang malupit na backer wala rin. At the start of the year nag-open na yung computerized na exam ng CSC sa Commonwealth office nila. Ang daming nag-apply as in bus loads from the province. I found out na mga government employees sila na galing pa sa mga province and here as well and they were prioritize since employed na sila gobterno pero wala pa palang mga eligibilities. May kasabay ako na taga customs dun nung nag -exam ako mga mid-50's na siguro yun naka uniform pa, more that 20 years na siya sa government pero walang eligibility. Quote Link to comment
Google
tried applying sa IP Office (under DTI), ang sunget nung ASec na nag interview.... Quote Link to comment
pvtryan525
State Universities almost always have job openings, like UP. Quote Link to comment
ThUgZtaH
noted. Honestly, if you want to effect change sa employment system ng government natin, i think it should start in all ranks. One way is to purge all those people having the same last name and are related up to the 4th degree of consanguinity, then re-do a background check on all those currently working to verify if they are indeed qualified for the positions that they are holding. I know some people who are holding high-paying positions but are not even qualified. Meron pa nga ni hindi graduate ng high school pero still working as a casual employee, which requires you to be at least a high school graduate. Lupet. other than that, I don't think this trend is gonna change in the next 50 years, unless the Mayans were correct and the world ends in 2012. Quote Link to comment
cocoy0
When I was in college, I went drinking with a classmate and her friend, who was studying to be a Customs officer. I was disgusted by her when I realized she expects to be doing in that agency what is happening now. Quote Link to comment
HuYu
gumagana pa rin ang "it's not only what you know, but who you know" unfortunately Quote Link to comment
crispa18
gumagana pa rin ang "it's not only what you know, but who you know" unfortunately This is very true, you should know somebody in order to be in the Government Service..... For those who are asking among the Agencies with best salaries, mostly this are Government Corporations others are The Bangko Sentral. Senate and Congress has high salary grades (SG)... and take note most of these high salary grades have a qualification of "able to read and write" thats it instant SG 24.... Quote Link to comment
don210
Ambisyon ko pa naman ang makapag trabaho sa government because of stability nito. Gusto ko sana makapasok sa BSP, CS prof passer ako kaya lang walang backer. Quote Link to comment
